Delistings/trades at end of the season
We'll have better picks to trade for Prestia or Treloar than Geelong, plus Prestia will play for us or stay at gc.

Prestia trade aside, i wouldn't mind trying to get Gorringe. He's out of favour at the Suns and with Jamar on his last legs, we need someone to help out Max.

Well if he came to us, i'd personally drive him down there and back every time he wanted. Solved. Next.

Yes, fitting genuine quality into the team will be hard................ Um no. If we are lucky enough to bring him in, finding him a spot in the best 22 will not be hard at all. He would straight away improve the quality and depth of our team.

Tom McDonald?
And to think WYL wanted him to be captain. He's reverted back to his old, bad self. The one full of sh!t disposals and decision making. Maybe a week at Casey will break him out of his funk. I reckon a good 10-15 could join him from today as well.

The only one he is a fan of is himself.

I'd prefer doing that, replacing players known to be sub-afl standard with unknowns. As opposed to keeping list cloggers, who won't take us forward.

At least O'Meara would have a good excuse for not running after players'

Tom McDonald?
If anything, i would've thought that it was Roos and the coaching staff that were believing the hype (and their good work in developing him). So they thought he had become the clear #1 backman, even on the monster FF's. Maybe it was them who got ahead of themselves and thought their job was just about done.

Tom McDonald?
Well we know he can take a grab.

Tom McDonald?
He still doesn't know his limits, which scares me. His disposal is sub-afl standard and his decision making still isn't flash. However, i am willing to continually put up with him and his clangers because he genuinely gives a sh!t and gives his all every game. There are plenty ahead of him in the queue to walk the plank. First up Howe, Bail and Jones (M)

McKenzie, M Jones, Bail and Terlich would head the list for me at the moment.

At 189cm and 87kg, he's that big bodied mid that PR seems to love. Has some pace about him too.

Is that a question Song?, if it is..........i don't, if it isn't................i agree

I'd rather chase Prestia than Aish.

Aaron vandenBerg
A bloke who has played 8 games, no full pre-season and used to run around in the NEAFL (the TAC cup is a higher quality league). He's got a tonne of improvement left in him.

Injuries aside, he has done nothing since 2011. That's coming up on 4 years. Toumpas has been on our list for 3 and people are calling for his head.................

Delistings/trades at end of the season
Rather than list those who could be gone come years end, i'll list those that i believe we need to keep (will save some time). The rest can be de-listed or traded for all i care. Must keep in order of appearance on mfc website: Hogan, N Jones, Salem, Viney, Lumumba, Brayshaw, Gawn, Tyson, Dunn, Stretch, Kent, Frost, Vince, Kennedy-Harris, T McDonald, Petracca, O McDonald, Neal-Bullen, Garlett, Jetta, vandenBerg. That's 21/44 spots on the main and rookie list. Keep in mind these are the "must keeps" which include draftees from last year (too early to possibly cull). Others not listed will no doubt play a role and some of them will be important roles. KPD's - 4 (Dunn, Frost, T McDonald, O McDonald) SPD's - 3 (Salem, Lumumba, Jetta) Mids - 6 (N Jones, Viney, Brayshaw, Tyson, Vince, Petracca) Rucks - 1 (Gawn) KPF's - 1 (Hogan) SPF's - 3 (Kent, K-H, Garlett) Other - 3 (Stretch, N-B, vandenBerg) In my breakdown, it highlights our need for more 'must keep' Rucks, KPF's and Mids that can play in numerous positions. Nothing we didn't already know. As already highlighted by another thread, fix our midfield problems and we give our forwards more opportunities and can negate our ruck weaknesses by roving the opposition. We also need to find ourselves another quality KPF to support Hogan, as Dawes is clearly not it. Another good ruckman (provided Gawn makes it) will help handle the ruck load. Our priorities for draft/trade: 1 - Mids 2 - KPF 3 - Ruck

The Incredible Hulk - Jesse Hogan
You seem surprised? I would be more surprised if the number of other clubs chasing his signature is less than 17. Whilst it's still early days, he is something special alright.Doesn't come out of contract until the end of 2017, and you can bet like hell that we'd ensure that he sticks around for the entirety of that contract (unlike GWS). When the appropriate time comes, we'll give him a massive offer in both $ and years. Fear not chook, this one's a stayer!

I'm sorry but neal............HA. There is no-one on Freo's list that would be deemed as sufficient compensation. But that's not having a go at Freo or their list, because i believe that no player from any team's list would be deemed as sufficient compensation. Not even a fully fit Gary Ablett would be enough to tempt me................far from it.

Aaron vandenBerg
I am huge fan of his physicality, his presence, and his willingness to do the 1%ers.

Aaron vandenBerg
vandenBerg, is of dutch origins. Spelt 'van den Berg' in Dutch (but vandenBerg as a surname - without spaces), it translates to "from the mountain/hill"
