As they go through their re-build, North are going to be rather irrelevant (a lot like we were for the majority of the past decade). If getting Dusty keeps them in the limelight, then it's obvious that's the direction they are wanting to take. But why on earth he'd want to go from the Tiges (arguably the biggest club in the AFL at the moment), to one of the smallest is beyond me.

Watts for Weed and maybe Stretch for Wagner (i like Josh's endeavour and attack on the ball, but i'm never confident when the ball is in his hands)

If Watts were to come in, it would be have to be for Weideman. I'm all for developing young players' by exposing them to AFL, but with finals on the line, we cannot afford not to play our best 22 (Jack is ahead of Weed, for the time being anyway).

For those that think we have been on the rough end of the stick.............well you're right. The HS article "Free kicks: the teams right at home" shows that over the last 10 years, we have the lowest differential for free kicks for vs free kicks against for victorian teams playing home games against interstate one's. The overall differential list has the Weagles benefiting the most as the home team (surprise surprise). I'm not sure where we fall in terms of differential overall (we aren't in the top 9), but i think i have a pretty good idea where we might be.

A lot of the time we seem to be shooting ourselves in the foot, stuffing up some good chances that we've created. I'm all for the team-first mantra, but when you have the ball and are inside 50, back yourself in (you're an AFL footballer after all, you're meant to be good enough).

Oliver's blatant refusal to actively not kick the ball leads me to believe he must be suffering from some minor OP. One of his kicks in the last in the centre was sublime. He received the ball and put it out in front of a teammate running forward and he didn't have to break stride. More kicking please Clayton, it is weapon you need to be exploiting.
