Welcome to Demonland: Jake Lever
Well if today is anything to go by, Lever can't get here fast enough. Our backline is getting hammered.

Welcome to Demonland: Jake Lever
Agree, would prefer to hang on to Frost even if Lever came across

If Charlie Cameron moved to Brisbane, then possibly.

Welcome to Demonland: Jake Lever
As they go through their re-build, North are going to be rather irrelevant (a lot like we were for the majority of the past decade). If getting Dusty keeps them in the limelight, then it's obvious that's the direction they are wanting to take. But why on earth he'd want to go from the Tiges (arguably the biggest club in the AFL at the moment), to one of the smallest is beyond me.

Clarence Oliver
And he was equally good on either foot.

Clarence Oliver
His year for a second year player is something this club hasn't seen for a very long time (if ever). However, his start to the year was way more influential than the 'form' he is in now. I know he is a handball first type of guy, but we need him to be more willing to kick the ball. He is only one of a few that have tried to continually stand up during our form slump of the past month (as admirable as that is), but his reliability also means that it is him we need to count on really imposing himself on the remaining games, as few others seem to want to throw their hat into the ring. He's gonna need to adopt the mantra of "if it has to be, it's up to me". An indictment on the so-called leaders of our club.

Welcome to Demonland: Jake Lever
Um, no. After today's effort, i'm going to have to disagree with you on that McQueen. We can't defend [censored].

Welcome to Demonland: Jake Lever
apparently Dons are gunning for him.

In Jason Taylor we trust!
He came in the same off-season that we drafted Salem and Tyson and Hunt (so end of 2013). There's a video out there somewhere that shows Hunt with all his mates as his name is read out, and it is definitely Taylor that reads it out.

Time to show Oscar some respect!
He looks a completely different player when he back himself in, as opposed to when he plays timid and looks like a bunny in the headlights.

Lever is a good kick!

Welcome to Demonland: Jake Lever
Darling can be good at times and poor at times...........................so a Jack Darling either way.

Welcome to Demonland: Jake Lever
He'd probably be automatic first 5. Gawn, Hogan, Petracca, Oliver, Lever

That pass to Melksham just before 3QT from the centre was a thing of beauty

Time to show Oscar some respect!
Oscar still needs to come to terms with the speed of the game at AFL level. He is a little too slow at times, which causes him to panic and rush some things (like a couple of those kicks early in the game). He's still very raw and young (in terms of a KPP), so these things mistakes will happen (Weitering is no saint and he was #1 pick). Like the rest of the team, he played much better in the second half. A good step forward and hopefully it does his confidence the world of good.

The Importance of Jordan Lewis
Give him a spell in the 2nd's. Dent his pride so he comes back breathing fire.

WELCOME TO THE MELBOURNE FOOTBALL CLUB - HARLEY BALIC
Brayshaw Self sums it up nicely. He has no damaging qualities. They may play different roles, but Balic's outside influence makes Tyson's inside influence look like it's the best in the league. He has had little to no influence in any game he has played. He reminds me of Hayden Crozier in that he is neither a good nor bad player, but rather a nothing player as he has zero influence on a game.

Welcome to Demonland: Jake Lever
We're gonna need to offer more than $500k per year to get him out of Adelaide. With the new CBA and salary cap increase, he'd be looking at $700k+ a year.

Welcome to Demonland: Jake Lever
At the very least. Would be willing and happy to give up our 1st and 2nd round picks for him.

Welcome to Demonland: Jake Lever
Apart from Rory Thompson, Jordan Roughead and Jake Carlisle, there are no 200cm defenders. Talia is 197cm, Hurley is 193cm, Hooker is 197cm, Taylor is 195cm, Henderson is 196cm, Day is 197cm, May is 193cm, Davis is 197cm, Rance is 194cm, McGovern is 195cm. Of those i'd say that Talia, Hurley, May and McGovern play the more traditional role of FB (average height = 194.5cm) Carlisle isn't setting the world on fire, Roughead is perpetually injured and Thompson has also struggled to get on the park recently. It seems that anywhere between 193-197cm is a good height for a fullback and Lever is right in the middle at 195cm.

WELCOME TO THE MELBOURNE FOOTBALL CLUB - STEVEN MAY
Don't doubt you Wise, but what can the Hawks give? May is not a Free Agent, and they gave up their first rounder for this year in last year's trade period. That only leaves them with next year's first rounder. Sure they still have some decent players' but last year showed that none of these players' want to leave.

WELCOME TO THE MELBOURNE FOOTBALL CLUB - STEVEN MAY
Hibberd T.McDonald Hunt Jetta May Frost A back-line like above has a lot of pace, flexibility and hardness. The positive thing is that we have 5/6 positions filled already. May might not be the player we are targeting, but it is clear that we lack another quality KPD.
-
WELCOME TO THE MELBOURNE FOOTBALL CLUB - STEVEN MAY
May is a much better backman than OMAC. That is reason enough to try and bring him (or any KPD for that matter) into the team, so we can improve as a team. There are still way too many question marks about OMAC to consider him a part of our best 22. May would definitely be included in our best 22.

WELCOME TO THE MELBOURNE FOOTBALL CLUB - MICHAEL HIBBERD
He's tough, doesn't panic, prefers to kick it out of defense, a good disposer of the ball, attacks the ball and wants the ball. Fast becoming the general of our back line (if he hasn't already).
