  1. In this instance then, i hope Goodwin is right. Otherwise he'll just be leading us further into the mire. Either way......................we win. Goodwin is right and we recover, or he isn't we remain [censored] but he gets the ar$e
  2. i doubt we'd be interested in him
  3. They should be doing a lot better. If you consider the amount of hit-outs and hit-outs to advantage Gawny gives us, then look at how many clearances we record per game, it becomes blatantly obvious that there is a huge disconnect between our ruck and mids. If only Max could rove his own taps.................
  4. How many of those memberships would include those that are freely handed out at games? The vast majority me-thinks.
  5. Take two please, Pit ?
  6. She has never let facts stand in the way of her 'argument'. She has always had ulterior motives and carried a chip on her shoulder. Particularly when it has come to the Demons.
  7. Agreed. We don’t need the likes of Hawkins, Dangerfield or Kelly
  8. Surely Chaplin is on borrowed time as well. If someone of Macca’s coaching ability is leaving, surely the defensive genius that is Chaplin will no longer be required.
  9. Frosty brings something different to our back-line, pace. So long as he curbs his ability to run himself into trouble, he is worth having in the team everyday of the week compared to SLOMAC, and twice on Sundays. If true we are chasing Keath, i wouldn't mind seeing him come in at the expense of Oscar.
  10. Agree Jumbo, we need to go to the draft soon as per the rules (and to spread our age profile), and hopefully we don't have a pick so early again for quite a few years. Hope Taylor makes the most of it, and finds us a quality kid to add to our crop.
  11. love how he stands up in tackles, though at 96kgs for a mid, you'd expect him to be hard to budge.
  12. He did SFA up until the back half of last year, and has done SFA since. Massively overrated. Pass.
  13. The only reason why i can see us going for him is to replace OMAC. If that is the case, then i thoroughly encourage it. Maybe Frosty might just end up on a wing after all!
  14. OMAC ???
  15. If going on that ugly "P" word, potential, i'd have Anderson ahead of Rowell by some distance, however Rowell has more runs on the board at this stage to be worthy of the #1 pick. He would be a "safer" bet as #1 pick, but i wouldn't be surprised if Anderson was chosen at pick 1. Either way, it is unrealistic that either would be able to help push us back up the ladder next year.
  16. just trade them all out and start again
  17. Great to see us playing to the siren. As much of a critic of Goodwin as I am, it is clearly obvious that this playing group only like giving effort when times are good, not when there’s an ounce of pressure or when times are bad. The playing groups attitude towards giving a [censored] is disgusting. Pride in performance and jumper is non-existent. Unacceptable and player’s need to be given what they deserve, tear strips off them. Time for long overdue tough love, those who prosper well and good, those who don’t can rot in the 2’s or can find another club
  18. I’d rather a goodbye to Goodwin and go after someone other than Roos (as good as he was for us, he was and would always be a part time solution). I’d rather go after a Ratten or maybe a Caracalla first.
  19. Agree Redleg. Whilst the idea of a social club is a nice idea, i'd be more than happy to not have one if it meant maximising the quality of the players' facilities. That needs to be the most important aspect of any move, it's what will attract and retain quality player's and must take precedence before anything else.
  20. If GC get both 1st and 2nd picks in the draft, would you still be tempted to bring in Brodie Kemp even with him going down with an ACL? @spirit of norm smith
  21. WGAF. It ain't affecting the salary cap.
  22. Well if he comes to us, one might just open up for him next year (Ala, Ratten at the Saints this year).
  23. What's the go there TRIGON? Just seen, ACL tear. Poor bugger.
  24. Exactly Oli. He knows how to rove a pack and be at the fall of the ball. That automatically puts him ahead of Spargo playing as that crumbing forward.
