The beat the press segment last night was a waste of time IMO.

I thought he showed a lot with limited game time. He uses his body well which sometimes end up in team mate possessions. He should play every game, at least until Grimes is ready.

We were effectively playing with 17 players when Morton was on the ground. Poor game I thought. Disagree about Valenti. I thought he showed a heap of good signs. Uses that little nugget body so well. Although beaten, I thought it was Bartram's best game of the year. Didn't realise he had such a motor. A couple of clangers but nowhere near as many as in previous weeks. He's coming good hopefully.

The holding the ball (called a push) goes against everything this game stands for. Not sure it cost us the game, but it cost us any chance of winning from then on!

He doesn't have much support on this board, but I agree with you. Some of his best games were as acting captain. I think he thrives with the added responsibility. Neitz rates his leadership qualities too, that's enough for me.

I think he will make it. He could become a game breaker. Hopefully he will learn to make better decisions over the coming months. I did notice a big difference in speed between defensive and offensive running however.... Needs to fix that. Overall I'm still a fan.
