The players and Goody all said in interviews that alarm bells were ringing in the dogs game at half time. Apparently they learnt nothing. We’re in another shootout and we’re on the ropes. Even if we win from here, the coaches have work to do to get our brand back for finals.
-
At the ground it feels like we’re gonna get done here. They’re coming at us and we let this game move this fast from the start. Coaches would be ropeable.
-
Kozzie needs to stay down for the crumb. I don’t have the best view, but he seems to be flying in packs repeatedly for some reason.
-
Insane efficient from Pies has kept them in this. Logic says this isn’t sustainable for them, but [censored] their entire winning streak is an anomaly and shouldn’t be sustainable.
-
Goody is furious on the bench. Could see him screaming at players to move into the corridor. Don’t blame him. Despite being up, this isn’t how we want to play. Dogs game all over again.
-
Pathetic defending that transition.
-
Hunt copped a head knock. He’s struggling but medicos aren’t going out to him.
-
They’re scoring everytime they go inside 50 it feels like! Defense not holding up at all.
-
[censored] hell Max. Sort your [censored] out. That’s unacceptable from a league footballer. Get a proper kicking routine for gods sake
-
Entertaining quarter to watch, but a [censored] shocking quarter from us with how we want to play. This isn’t a Melbourne game and we need to control it more or we’ll struggle in a shoot out again.
-
Need to slow this one down. It’s the Doggies game all over again. Despite being up, this is not a Melbourne game and we’ll lose if this keeps up.
-
Max will struggle as a full time forward later in his career with his current goal kicking!
-
Christ Collingwood supporters are insufferable idiots. Max getting his head belted and no free
-
Good crowd pouring in. Cmon Dees let’s bury these toothless centrelink [censored]!
-
I'll be real flat if we lose tonight. We'll still be marching into finals regardless, but they've had the wood over us in recent years, beating us in 5 of the past 7 encounters. We owe them a belting. I'll also fear for my safety leaving the ground regardless of the outcome. Pies fans are a different species and a good case study for sub-human lifeforms.
-
Lingers has given them some extra motivation with those comments. Not sure that was wise! [censored] I hope we beat them tomorrow. I’ll be seriously flat if we lose to them yet again.
-
Brown in for Weid is a given if he’s fit. Not sure who Harmes comes in for. The team balance was better last week with Hunt in the backline and Gus up into the middle. I’d want to avoid reverting to the previous structure as it didn’t work as well for us IMO. Harmes in for Melksham and spending time forward in a more defensive role and trying to snag a few himself?
-
Think it’s the ongoing impact from the bad rolled ankle recently. The week off before finals will do our players a world of good. Guys like Gawn, Brown, Lever, Clarry, Petty have all missed matches and played under duress in the second half of this year. A week for them to freshen up and heal further should have us in good knick to give finals a red hot crack at closer to full strength.

Another great get for the club. Pert and co are doing a good job off field. Do we get discounts? Half my bloody wardrobe is country road at this point haha
-
Dogs would legitimately be a bottom four team without the blatant favor of the umpires.
-
Pies luck will run out soon enough. They’re the worst team in the 8 comfortably. Percentage of 106 for a top four team would have to be a record for ****test and luckiest team ever.
-
B Brown in for Weid if he’s recovered from his knee injury. Otherwise no change.
-
Would prefer Meek to Grundy so we can pocket over half a million dollars to spend elsewhere on a more important position (key forward).
-
[censored] yeah good win

We’d have to throw in a first rounder. Andrew Brayshaw is a far better player than Jackson at this stage and is still only 22 himself.
