POSTGAME: Rd 05 vs Brisbane
No Kozzie no Melbourne. He's the barometer. His pressure in the forward half is missed and we've lost both matches this year he's missed now in similar fashion. Also miss the ability to change up a losing midfield combination. He needs to reel in the rough stuff now and just stay on the field.

POSTGAME: Rd 05 vs Brisbane
Our tall forwards remain a major problem. I know the ball isn't going in there cleanly for them, but they need to create more leads so there's movement and space to utilize. Petty, JVR and Brown are all battling for impact. If we had any other options in the VFL you'd drop Petty. JVR has been decent in the ruck but poor up forward. His marking skills seem to have abandoned him. He gets to so many but then has them slip through the hands like Chris Dawes used to. The thing that [censored] me though is surely as a forward getting manhandled, you can position yourself to earn a free kick. Chance says you'll earn a free kick eventually, to not earn one actually takes effort haha It's mental how many contested they lose without changing tactic.

Will Hayward
Best mate is a Swans supporter. He's not overly fond of Heywood and couldn't care less if he leaves. "Kicks 3 goals then disappears for a month. Doesn't have the physical presence of other bigs. Doesn't have the speed or intensity of Paps and co. Easy one to move on for cap space".

Kolt to debut vs Brisbane
Super excited for this debut. By all reports Kolt is a ripping bloke, a culture setter who will be an important part of the playing group in future. He's got high impact potential as a half forward now and midfielder down the track. Best of luck Kolt!

What they are saying up in Vulture Street
They'll only catch us if they're given another free hit against North.

NON-MFC: Round 04
What was the game sealing free kick for and why was it in front of goal again?

- Jack Viney 200 Games
The spiritual leader of the group and the toughest player in the entire league. What a club changer Jack has been. From his first game he set the tone for a new tougher more competitive Melbourne, and years later that's exactly what we became. Our midfield became the toughest in the league and has been for 4-5 years straight now. He's getting better with age too. Was unlucky not to be All Australian last year. Best of luck in your 200th Jack. A true lifelong Demon who we all love and admire!- NON-MFC: Round 03
Umpiring has been horrendously biased in favor of the filth. The AFL obviously not happy that they're a pathetic rabble and want them back amongst it for eyes on and $$$.- NON-MFC: Round 02
Bombers putting up a decent fight tonight but Swans will run it out in the last. Ben McKay is possibly the most overpaid footballer in AFL history. VFL standard yet on over 700k a year!- Your Least Favourite AFL Team (Poll)
Collingwood. This should be the only option in the poll. They're arrogant scum and their supporters have been violent and abusive at games I've attended. Western Bulldogs a runner up for me. Had poor experiences at some of their games too.- NON-MFC: Round 02
They're the second weakest premier of this century, only the Bulldogs of 2016 were weaker. Fact. The pies won their 3 finals by a cumulative total of 12 points. That was with some extremely lucky umpiring decisions going their way. They started the season well but by the end they were a middle of the road team and were possibly the luckiest premiers in my lifetime. Zero chance of a "dynasty". Hopefully they crash and burn for the sake of all Australian society and the sport. Pathetic wretched scum.- Welcome to Demonland: Caleb Windsor
We're onto a winner. I thought we reached for type when we drafted him, but already I know I was wrong and he's going to be special. JT is a genius. We drafted him due to his pace and ability to link up and hit targets going inside 50. He's shown that already. Love the bit of play on the weekend where he marked at HBF, field was stagnant ahead of him, he short passed to teammates towards corridor then ran on for handball receive bursting forward and kicking forward. Gained us about 80 metres out of a stagnant field and gave us the exact type of drive we lack from the back half. He's also already showed glimpse that he's got elite potential on the inside. His ability to shrug and turn through tackles is great, and he's got quick strong hands. If he can add more strength to his upper body, he could become the most rounded midfielder we've got. I'll get blasted for this, but most clear comparison player for me is Chris Judd as a youngster when he was more outside and pacy before his OP took away his burst and he moved more inside.
