July 5th..... Casey Fields..... WA v TASSIE National U18's comp.... Nick Nat will be playing at his future training venue.... I expect the MFC will be at least buying the kid a Schnitzel with gravy, and having a chat!?!?!?! Watched him on Sunday in the curtain raiser for the Port/Carlton match.... The SA boys targetted him something fierce in the first quarter! But to Nick's credit, he withstood all the hard bodies and played a really good match.... Get down to Casey and watch Naita, Hurley and the other lad Yarran.... Well worth the trip!

The only reason I am going is..... U18's Curtain Raiser..... SA v WA Nick Nat and Daniel Rich..... Will let you all know what I think.... Also will most likely leave straight after it finishes!

Living in Adelaide.... Listening to MMM broadcast and live updates on AFL Gameday.... If this is a sign of things to come from the Melbourne Football Club, then bring it on!!!! Melbourne have taken it right up to the in form side of the competition! Up by 9 points at half time.... Some positives * Hard, contested football * Tackling is great * Putting plenty of pressure on the opposition * Backline working really well together (Garland, Warnock, Frawley, Bell all doing a great job) * Brock McLean has 20 touches to half time, 7 contested and 14 effective kicks * Bate is having a ripper and looks really good * Jamar is using his body well in the contests * Miller is presenting well up the ground and taking strong contested grabs Still a long way to go in the game and also in the rebuilding of our club, but the signs are great on todays effort!

White has a bit of a sore back.... Pulled up sore this morning, was put thru a fitness test and they have decided to err on the side of caution! Looks like Jordan Lewis may be out for the Hacks..... Morton to come in....

Jeff, you were a [censored] back awhile and you are still a [censored] today! The funny thing out of all this though.... Melbourne will beat Hawthorn this weekend! HaHa! It hurts to say this, but I have a feeling that Neitz won't be coming back.... Maybe to travel around the MCG in a car.....

Would be great to get this kid, but he has started to play some really good football this year and I cannot see him leaving Port Fairy Power in a hurry!

Full marks to the Kangaroos marketing staff..... Have done extremely well in re-inventing the club!

I will be there.... I think it will take a great effort to beat the Cows at AAMI.... But then again, it took a great effort to come from 50 pts down at half time to beat the Fockers.... Anything can happen.... I actually have a feeling we will win more than we lose from here on in.... And even though this will ruin our draft, it will be exciting!

I have a damn strong feeling that DB and CC have some big plans in their minds as to the list they want over the next 2 years.... We will see some positive trades (maybe even shocking at first) comes the end of this season.... A lot of people will be unhappy with some of them.... But the future is what the new look Melbourne is all about.... Gone are the days of living in the past!

Sunday 4th May 2008 Melbourne make the biggest comeback in the history of the club..... The most exciting 2nd half I've seen by us.... I then find out that I am going to be a father for the first time! The day hasn't even really sunk in yet.... This is absolute joy in it's purest form!

That is awesome!

Why the hell would you trade-in an old Melbourne guernsey?!?!?! I have more than 10 of them and would not trade them for anything less than a premiership! There is so much history and each guernsey has it's own memories.... Not too mention blood, sweat and tears (Used to punch on a bit after footy) Trading them in is a horrible thought! You would have to kill me before you got my Rodney Grinter guernsey!!!

Just a thought I had last night....

Every club has these sorts of little interviews between the players..... But is it just me, or is it hard to watch players laughing and joking around when our club is bordering on embarrassing????
