  1. Good older players would be picked up on a year contract by clubs in the premiership window. Junior was picked up by GWS for his leadership, something we desperately needed. Bruce walked and played a dozen forgettable games at the Hawks. The rest didn't do much. Anything actually. Davey has done little to nothing this year. About the same as the year before. And the year before. If Aaron doesn't retire, he should be retired in the friendliest possible way....
  2. Have called for years for Sylvia o be traded but hav been howled down by pea brains that are too scared to be brave, unwilling to move on anyone with talent. Our club has dug it's own hole, not just the players, supporters helped to a degree. Point the fingers all you want, hope you have more than two hands though
  3. As opposed to clueless?
  4. http://www.geelongadvertiser.com.au/article/2013/06/24/367729_gfc.html
  5. I have already pointed out what Ling said (on the same segment on before the game) before. He is mentoring Trenners, saw him leaving club offices walking to training ground as already posted. Not rocket science.
  6. He said it long ago
  7. Just pointing out that this isn't news to the king of irrelevant replies
  8. He has previously said he is interested in coaching, not sure when though. Said same today. Old news. He is mentoring the Melbourne captain, he has had informal chats with Melbourne. Hold the presses!
  9. For simpletons who thinks I'm not keen on the idea of Ling
  10. I think it's great. It's why I wrote about it a few months ago. It's why this is old news
  11. Do you honestly believe he would be mentoring the captain and would not have had an informal chat with the club? This isn't news at all, it's a lot of nothing, Ling will be considering a job as assistant, nothing will happen till we have a senior coach.
  12. I wrote a few months ago about how he was at training and having chatted to him, learnt that he was mentoring Jack T, so no news here really
  13. I think you must have had quite a bit to drink
  14. Haven't seen it, seen enough on the field. He is soft. Always has been. Always will be.
  15. Show some strength? Jack? Will be back after I clean up the food I just spat across the room
  16. A young player who hasn't got near reaching his potential, who has quite publicly had a swipe at his former coach and who is out of of contract and not wanting to sign until his struggling club get a new coach (ed) is going on the footy show. God, Jack's manager must be a jack off of the highest order
  17. If Roos gets another thousand members to join that's about $300,000 extra in the kitty. If he gets 4000 extra members into the club, we would be looking at over a million extra generated. Financially speaking, from a membership viewpoint purely, if they believe Roos will inspire more people to join the club as members, the cash isn't an issue.
  18. Nothing like Nicho IMO, though get what you mean but difference is, Tom could be a real gun
  19. Still needs further improvement in decision making and disposals, if he can improve these he could easily become an elite defender
  20. Who wouldn't choose the boss that they wanted if they could. We've dug our own hole, up to us to get out of it...
  21. Wasn't this Shane whoever working with Woey in 2000?
  22. FMD, make sure you stay in school young fella. I'm saying if we got Boyd, we should trade Watts and Fitzy for midfielders.
  23. Dr Who "you don't understand anything about football."
  24. Passing on clearly the best player by all accounts. It would be stupid to pass on him. If we were to get him, trade for a mid. If we had the first pick, I'd be trading Watts and as much as I hate the thought, Fitzy as well.
