  1. Never going to happen with Goody .
  2. Loosely translated.... "Thanks for flying Demons, we'll try not to crash again next flight"
  3. Tbh. That letter is somewhat embarrassing. Just trying to remember who helped orchestrate Bails' assassination?? Who was that again ..... My god we need to be so much better than this.
  4. Just going to put it out there... Not thinking we're a destination club. This will shock some no doubt. In fact quite reverse as if even a qtr of the storied rumours have any substance then a handful are casting their gaze about. And to be honest who can really blame them. 15 or so players are Premiership players. That just screams to me how much we miss those other 6 or 7. That said... this is 2025. '21 is now a fading memory and NO ONE is going to give you any credit for that in THIS year's contest. Nor should they. You line up and away you go . This year's combatants playing this year's 'game' and may the better side win. If you're lacking in either the players or stewardship you will struggle. If both are ineffective then you will be unceremoniously despatched. We're 5 and zip. Somehow not sitting on the bottom. Who's responsible ?? Well, from my cheap seat, the players have to be somehow complicit as they're the only ones actually playing. But playing at what exactly? Many experienced track watchers, many a seasoned supporter are seemingly unable to define a particular strategy. Is it that those previously mentioned Premiership players have all woken up one morning victims of some alien abductions and now rendered incapable of coherent and conducive football ?? Possibly the least likely of occurrences. Have the newer younger additions somehow hindered the more experienced?? Not particularly likely I'd have thought. What's left. It can only really be the instructions given to the players. And whose job is that ? I'm not thinking it's the line coaches. They are only responsible for the particular part of the overall gameplan/style that their briefs allow. They too a following instructions. Whose instructions?? The Senior Coach Some will come running forward screaming "that's not his job" Tbh I can only laugh at that as there is no one else whose job it is to to exactly that. The Architect come Builder of any teams efforts is the Coach. If not why have one ? Our Coach is not particularly successful currently. It's been a while between wins , indeed still waiting on one this year and was a while back in the last that we took the chocolates. Those looking at patterns will note after two less than flattering finals campaigns there is but one essential trend. Simply losing, and losing more than we win and very seldom able to backup one win with a other. Somehow we are to suddenly click ? The same players with same coaching to same instructions.... suddenly going to click ?? The only way this changes, is WITH change !! The club is simply in denial otherwise and that , to me , indicates they are simply wrong ... or they too are the wrong ones. Currently we've 22 odd players without any coherent idea of what to do and as many ( likely ) aiding them off field If we were a business using this strategy we'd be broke and calling in receivers. There's a saying "if it ain't broke don't fix it" If that is true then so must its converse " if it is broken, fix it" Fixing often entails removing what doesn't work( broke ) and replacing. Over to you MFC
  5. In breaking news... the HFC have turned back the clock to go out in solidarity with the Demons. "We won't forget we were almost the Melbourne Hawks... so we thought we'd play like them !! ""
  6. Mercy rule... surely
  7. Tbh... I don't get the impression... and arguably its only my impression.. that Choco gives a flying f atm His player whispering magic has disappeared out the door. The special skills .... well... we have sfa.. He's on a good wicket eh 😏 I.e why is he there ???
  8. It stops a rot. Simple as that. It's a circuit breaker. Provides opportunity for change of rac. Buckley... whatever...another Adelaide team mate. Fluff stuff really. In respect to Simon's dilemma...it's not thin ice... that was yesterday. Today... somehow he's above fresh air.
  9. In reality... we just want success, respect and concerted effort. We're all Demons end of the day.
  10. Can we now at least all agree ??
  11. Book your seats .. get your popcorn and chocblocks !!
  12. ......perhaps they'll listen now... perhaps... maybe.... wtfk....🤷‍♂️
  13. Actually I agree ... the list has holes... gaps even. But it's the game those that are there ( as opposed not ) are given tp play that is the more damning. Imo That's not on the players.... is it ?
  14. They are compromised. Goody, Fd, Board ... clueless This IS salvageable.... for 26 onwards... but time is now...... NOW
  15. If he hasn't the stones to do what's required.... then he's as much the problem as anyone.
  16. ...next year ? Next week !!!
  17. The place is on fire We need to put the fire out. We can revisit who mismanaged the build up afterwards.
  18. This is in my view a very real and very big concern. Without a circuit breaker irreparable damage to this team ( as it is ) will occur. This can be prevented to a degree. But will it ? Time is NOW
  19. Futility is doing something you know won't have the outcomes you desire. Stupidity is doing it knowingly and nonetheless. Cowardice is not providing protection to those deserving of it when stupidity is the order of the day.
