To be quite frank he wouldn't be remaining on the list of better clubs. This is for mine an area we need to emulate. If we can see a player wont amount to what we need we need to be strong enough and have the courage of conviction to delist and move on. Is it not also fair to those who are going to add to the equation that they be surrounded by and topped up with players that will do likewise ?

I just love the notion of his quiet unassuming self belief. Its not arrogance , its just a pretty good appreciation of his abilities and circumstance. it takes a while for this sort of team confidence to build and I do actually think it will and in no small way as a result of the influence of Dawes and his ilk.
