The draw is what it is I guess. How one looks at it from the beginning will always differ from the other end tbh honest I find it hard to resolve your first para against your second.....just me probably

I may be wrong ( yeah...nah...never happens ) but as things ( or people ) evolve yo have your ups and downs until there just up and little down. We all , almost to a member here , agree about 99% is between the ears. Its among the Grey cells that you kick in or give up. I dont think anyone would argue about his skills and ability just his impact, his preparedness to impose upon a game. I think its starting to emerge. It's stuttering for sure but its one thing to reset yourself for next week as opposed to kicking up a few cogs mid game. This year may be somewhat more or similar to efforts in the first handful of games but I think from 2017 onwards we may have that magical 3rd fwd we need.

No Ill bloody well judge him on what hes supposed to be doing kick goals...and in the open hes not that marvelous at it and had no consistency. Hes really good at involving himself in the game . His subtle pays are gold but his goal kicking meh . All of his "points " were unachievable as goals ....I offer evidence in one JW. He can kick

As good as any place I guess ( without starting a new one ) Jack had a C+ game today but at times when his footy forte was required , he delivered unlike some over favoured forward ) Jack would have to be among the handful of very good kicks at our club . This also goes to a problem which needs correcting as good clubs have good kickers all across the board. It is FOOTY after all. He was in yip-land ( with all his other mates ) for the first half but worked himself back into the game and I thought took the game on. I am one of his biggest critics at times but he was far from our worst today imho. Sometimes when I watch games and especially when a result seems forecast I start amusing myself by watching elements or certain players. I thought the interaction between him and Hogan was quite good. Maybe their roles might have been reversed for a while to re-boot the attack but alas non the less I think hes coming on. He is a confidence player and the team was shite for a while today...he as well. I really like him as a 3rd tall up front and thank god someone can KICK !!

my thinking exactly Ted His nett value in any game hovers above zero for mone

makes you wonder iin a sense ( perhaps not ) why our post Neeld recruiting team have targeted some decent forwards who CAN kick Maybe Hogans future isnt as we think
-
and yet strangely like his footy cousin Cloke has a good action and penetration when in play...its set shots that are rubbish
-
someone just needs to set his watch 5 secs fast, it's all balance out then
-
and they have FOUR on the trot to boot
-
now its a question that niggles me . When things are being done to stymie our game what action do the line and specialist coaches watching on take . I always feel like were a step or ten behind in reacting to things.
-
fair enough. I think like all his mates today just has a dose of the footy-yips
-
The guys a footy monster....but honestly, set kicks like godzilla
-
now this is just a question by the tone of yours you suggest he ought be doing what exactly ?
