I think its a very good result all round. and we move on...and upwards etc. Will be interesting to see how Goody rejigs the game plan to more his style and how he will utilse the style of player that Jesse is. He already has a bit of a tank so maybe he might mrph into something many wouldnt suspect... a marauding go anywhere follower. In many respects he wasted just camping in the forward 50 and I think we're developing others to play more that role. Exciting times ahead. Will be interesting to see what knock on effect his retention might have to any others considering our club ?

dont need Tippett. Need something in the middle. After Hibberd I cant see us doing much but maybe targeting someone to better our mids stocks. Player mightnt be that A grader everyone wants just someone who betters the overall mix.

Not really Old. More along the lines that I would think something would need to give before friday. I really cant see the club going into next year with this as an unknown, nor can I see them wanting to even go into next week without some certainty as to Mister Hogans commitment. Its all well and good for some to remind us that he still has a year left but as it was he or his /and or his management that stalled things I should have ask y why. There was no indication back then of the family situation other than possible go-home-itis. His Fathers health may well put a different spin on things but why that cant be resolved to everyones best outcome ? If this is purely about money, resolve it. If this IS about family, that too can be resolved ( as far as can be helped ) Any which way , announcement or whatever , I expect something to happen before Friday and yes we'll be 4 days older

Agree, he's building. He's not alone and that's fine. A good preseason ( and gee we love to place that caveat on them , but it's so true ) will see him step up a bit again. He may not hit his real straps til 2018. That's ok by me. He has tenacity for the game. He also sees those little 1% opportunities and pounces.. Great peripheral ability.
