I wonder at times about all the scuttlebutt. Would Rocky be that bad that he's captain ? just for curiosity's sake I looked at his track record as far as b & f goes 2011 WINS 2012 6th 2013 4th 2014 WINS 2015 eq 12 ( funny ol year for Tom ) 2016 back to 5th Is it any co incidence that 2015 was his 'Rockiest' year to date ? I ponder...If, by chance , there were any real legs to this, then I would be supposing its driven by Rockliff, by the Club ( lions ) or Rockliff and Lions as a form of clean slate approach to next year ( for both ) If that were the case, we might not need the same currency as we would had we instigated the idea. Melbounre were , remember, very interested in Rockliff. Maybe hes just a bad fit for them and a better fit for us. We really have changed our MO. I laughed when I read Jeff''s views that i was the Hawks clinical decisions that separated them from the pack and then attempting to overlay that on the debacle of the past week and such. By comparison we have shown ourselves quite savvy over the past few trade periods . We dont show our cards. Well done us. This week could be huge......eventually

Time is NOW Hit the GO button. There are always opportunities to recruit players, there are not always opportunities to allow the synergies of a particular occasion to manifest and do their magic Should it indeed transpire we get Lewis, then he along with Hibberd ( I presume just a delayed result ) together with Milkshake, along with the atypical and non-surprising preseason of training houses, ne neighbourhoods , down should have quite the dynamic result. There's nothing wrong with keeping an eye on tomorrow.......but every game is played in the "today" Just those three players ( let alone any other 'additions') ought to kick us up a gear or two. We have quite a bit of emerging talent; lets fire it up. There are NO silver bullets. No instant panaceas for poor performing teams. What you can do is revitalise the bed you're growing your crop in, nourish it and when opportune give it 'super nourishment'. Not too much, but enough to provide that catalyst for a surged growth. Im sure we're indeed looking for some form of tall going forward, but if bargains present to supercharge your engine....id take them first. We can make the fwd line work. It may not be the perfect combo up front but with a midfiled working better and half backs able to stream forward and pinch hit with scores Im none too fussed. Jesus, we're starting to look like a halfway decent side
