Actually.. says no such thing for mine. Says we've got a handy VFL level group among our senior list. Does SFA for us at AFL level and when pitted against a side with more able VFL players bolstered by AFL players we aren't much chop . All in all our AFL level depth is rather thin.

I think this played out to our horror really. I know not everyone agrees but when some of our very much "needed' talent started to filter back , almost to a player they seemed underdone and either struggled often or injured themselves again. one or two......plain dumb luck... but it was everywhere. That's down to methodology and protocols. Might be time for some new folk in the back rooms

This may or may not really be at all about whether Watts is good, bad or indifferent. I CAN see it being about whether Watts fits into the Goodwin vision of things to come. Roos had a bit of time for Jack. I don't get the same vibe about Goodwin. SG has used Jack as a bit of a message. He might well want to yell louder Jack might become even more of a whipping boy to Goody than anyone here has managed .

ell.. I'm glad hes finally fronted. Tbh I couldn't really care less what he says as I haven't believed a word all year. For me it's simple. He's accountable. He's now accounting.. A bit late..better than never I suppose. A little of what he says does substantiate what some thought. All was not right at Melbourne. Unlike possibly the majority here I'm yet to be convinced we have the Messiah coach on board. Hopefully he speeds up his ability to learn from mistakes as the season was full of instances really where it looked like we nauseatingly repeating poor ideas. For me it'll be back to Demon-101 'it's the off season" It's what we do . We don't do finals...thats for OTHER teams...we just day dream away the summer. Be truly interesting to see what happens with the list. even more interesting to see what changes occur in the FD !! Then it's crunch time in 2018. To be or not to be. Words are rubbish it's action.
