  1. It kinda works as a racetrack Bin. Because there's not quite the same area flanks/wing the ball gets moved straight up the corridor . ..or near to ,more than almost every other AFL venue. The Kitties, it being their litterland, are very adept at this...very. They also seem to have runners Our history there is about as flash as our pace.
  2. We're not too flash at running either. This ground notoriously exposes lethargic teams. Geelong are far quicker by feet. Hope some of our fellas wear gloves ?
  3. My god you are so wrapped up in your cozy little world you miss the obvious. We seem good at getting players in tip top shape don't we. Maybe time to get new glasses. Your Rosey ones are deluding you Saty. We're obviously carrying a truck load of injury. Some planned convalescence possibly...some seems in the 'we'll play it week by week" To be fair that might be the only practical way for some but it also screams to some we really don't have a good enough handle on some aspects. Are we unique and alone in the football World ? Highly doubt it. Not interested in other club's problems. How any club can stump up that dross in round one with a far from fit team beggars belief in 2019. So yes Saty some of us look straight at those in charge. Stick to your camera mate.
  4. I see nothing wrong with a please explain, nothing. I'd be bloody asking why established rules were not enforced too. I do understand your view to giving as good ( if not doubly ) as you get. Am all for that. If you can't muster the 'alpha' stance on game days... don't play. It was quite frankly embarassing to see no-one run shotgun for Max. Pizzweak Melbourne.
  5. Lol Fmd mate what game were YOU watching ?
  6. To me it speaks more about our FD and very odd selection criteria. For mine it's reprehensible that Gawn played.
  7. I'm sure May will keep an eye out
  8. It was what came to mind...but am curious as how Goodwin would ask about it. I.e. How they see the transgressions .... also what came of it.
  9. Some fresh eyes and ideas certainly won't go astray
  10. What was the issues with rules...and what was the clarification I wonder
  11. My curiosity goes to two things. What exactly is the condition that ailed him requiring a procedure ( inclusive of a general )....and is he fully clear of this now ? Why didn't this receive attention sometime earlier than the week before round1 ? Edit...have these been answered here or elsewhere prior ? Something nqr about all of this.
  12. It's not THAT we lost. It's that we effectively lost it before it started.
  13. Hey diddle diddle that Jack in the middle the bull can't jump, just fall The others just laugh to play this sport and just run away with the ball
  14. You're correct. You don't know. Neither do I. I did however observe he was absolutely f'd at QTR time. Thanks Max...but..... Preuss held his own. Logic.. something lacking at Melbourne apparently... would suggest easing Max's load with our only other a grade ruck. Unfit..a no no ? ..oh Hello Jones..Hello Viney..hello Tmac ! A shout out to Trac also...sack of spuds FFS. We still aren't a smart club. Much pain ahead of this anything to gauge by.
  15. Max won't be protected. If we won't do it...why would anyone else ?
  16. How match fit exactly was Max days out from hospital having had a general ?
  17. Commerce is in simple terms... business Football...a sport. The original ideals of sports was/is the antithesis of Commerce. Sport , ideally is competition of ability. Looking at the rules of the game I don't see money mentioned. Then there's now.
  18. That's an understatement. The metrics that guide the arrogant imbeciles of the AFL have all but nothing to do with the real game, its integrity or spirit. It has everything to do with commerce. That of course is not what the game is about.
  19. It's an utter travesty of common sense and understanding of the game that this numbat is in this job. Even worse he's validated by others at AFL house. Yet we all understand ... Why !!!
  20. But will they. Given known issues with certain players Given the condition of any players recovering from a procedural hospital stay ( including a general ) Given relative match fitness of some Given matchups known or ( intelligently ) presumed Given form going into the game you might have thought a better team sheet ..you might !! I wonder what they'll f up going into Kittyland.
  21. Seriously...I'm a fossil but understand it. I'll translate for you. Even if things go adversely, if they go counter to hopeful expectations then that good chap Mr Lyon will stand by his fine recruit...irregardless
