  1. In considering our coaching stock I'm reminded that Fish rot from the head down. Our real problems imho lay squarely at the senior coaching and management. The whole style and nature of our game is wrong, counterproductive and ruinous of careers ( and bodies ) Assistants are only doing the daily bidding of the senior coach(s). Our problems are more the effect of design. We have decent enough material .... its the Architecture of our game that's flawed. We need to get rid of this firm and get people who actually have an idea of what to do.This lot don't. and I would have thought there were actually quite a few Dees among those names in the OP
  2. nupp...bloody phone..lol

I dunno BBO ....all one needs to do is stop taking the Dees seriously... I mean....look at the bunch of clowns running the footy...and in reality it is just one long party party PARTY !!! Life becomes so much more enjoyable the moment you realise it's all a farce
  4. Salient points

    nah...you're just bent !!!
  7. take out the howlers ?? which century will that happen 4.2 v 4.1 well have to give that to you eh only got in front once opposition vanished off the bench. You really going to argue otherwise ?
  8. because....what is, IS irrespective of who has it when...it has an effect in a game. imho we only won because they couldnt beat us. We only got on top when they lacked numbers. Its not a glowing indictment of anything we're really clever at
  9. pining !!!
  10. well...we do give every team that advantage...goals on a platter we only got on top once their injury toll impacted. Our conversion was actually better today.Kudos...wherever/whomever. imagine if it had been a normal day ?? Freo could hardly effectively rotate in the last qtr. Anyone who doesnt get the significance of that dilemma ( for freo ) doesnt quite get footy We were lucky...Good for us
  11. We won...yayyyyyyyy we managed to not trip over too many times against a very undermanned walking wounded version of a pretty much so-so team. We did some things much better...we were still pretty lucky. Today Ill take it. Tomorrow I'll reflect more and probably think...yeah...we're still bog average...and they were worse. Finals ?? yeah.....nah !!!
  12. These are the opportunities to better your stocks...hanging onto nqr mediocre fair weather B graders is not the way forward...for success. Therefore its exactly what MFC will do
  13. No apologies for bumping This is just marvelous, just BOOTIFUL !! Thankyou
  14. according to who ? You ?
  15. no...im Beelzebub...you're Card13..... and only Jaded....is Jaded !!!
  16. you dont think hes carrying something, more than a niggle ? I do I dont believe one iota of the rubbish that emanates from DeeHQ. Last year we managed to drive half the team into the ground . Thats why many arent out there. Tmac was injured...i'll lay london to brick hes getting jabbed just to play the mediocre rubbish currently on display...No wonder he plays like he does. He KNOWS he cant give it 100% He's persisted with , imho, because there really arent too may options. We're quite a dumb club unfortunately , currently reaping what we sowed. Quite simply ...he cant perform as he was...because he cant. He knows it, must be soul destroying. That said...he's not doing himself any favours.
  17. the short answer is the AFL over-steps everywhere and everything. It's so being stuffing up everything that was once iconic about OUR game it has forgotten it was only mandated to manage the game on behalf of the clubs, not dictate to all and sundry. The hypocrisy of the AFL knows no bounds
  18. thats a shame...
  19. Tommy Mac represents a big problem at our Dees He has issues ( fitness/medical) he was persisted with when clearly it was the wrong path. He wasn't the only one. We've run players into the concrete( gosch's ) What i do agree with wholeheartedly is that he should have been the cover, but we stuffed up, yet again. The idea suggested that we had Hogan's departure covered imho was reasonable. that it fluffed was due to incompetency of our FD. That things have gone awry isn't surprising to this reader
  20. trade Angus ??? lol Probably trade most of the FD first !!!
  21. its a symptom only...not THE issue
  22. well done... actually going to a member of the causality of this fiasco Peter Jackson did many great and mercurial things for this club and we are mostly the better for them all. That said Football as such wasnt his forte...Administration WAS. Initially PJ simply left Football to Roos. But with his departure and shall we say some interesting turns of events within the FD it basically became infested with a new-boys club accountable to only themselves. Mahoney can take a bow for much of this mess. Jackson was WRONG to think he JM could run this club...he cant run the FD successfully. I for one will not be sorry if he's a casualty in this. Even if this was not Pert''s initiative it's only happened because hes there.
  23. clouds are parting...people starting to see clearly now
  24. Jackson had NOTHING to do with the Football Dept...This is entirely someone else mess. We need a Hardwick style cleanout. Doubt the real offenders will be pushed though
