its interesting to see some ideas manifest. since a recent marraige ive not the opportunity to visit some of the other leagues, nor even had time to see as many afl games as previous so its good to see some blokes being put up as "smokies" in a a way. they are definitely out there and I feel the footy world has become obesessed with the new under aged kids. youd like to think 3 picks would net somethiing..and something bloody good. We know what were geting with Viney. That in itself is a rare win, theres no guessing here, hes a bone fide gun. He still needs work, he still will have to step up but we know he has that in him. No pencil in here, get the texta out. . He will command a high pick. other teams will make sure of that. Two picks to get ONE other decent player. Youd think that was a lockin but we know better.I think this is very much more about the selction lads knowing what they are after...really know and pickiing accordingly upon some really thorough homework.

personally id rather the player ( Mfc ) smiled and patted each other as they walk away leaving the scarred and broken bodies of that other mob.There is far too much niceness for my liking.. After the game, dwon the pub sure...fine. On the field they are the enemy.. they are not your friends.
