I've chortled for some whiles now that I dont see 26as all doom and gloom, far from it imho. I still harbour the notion we will surprise a few and it might well emanate from the engine room itself. Oh we will be a bit rusty and clunky to begin but I think as we settle into more of a real rhythm after a handful of games the new- midfield, as it were, might start meshing. Tbh I don't really understand why many if any were overly enmeshed with the midfield of old. It was a far less formidable entity than 20/21/22 era. Most of our real drive came via the half back line... the days of bang bang bang out of the middle were imho very short lived. After that it was more bang crash walloped!! Windsor will be the key here . Steele will offer a steady and knowing guiding hand. The likes of Culley might prove interesting, at least entertaining and speaking of showmen... well.... over to you Kozzie !! I think we might go ok 👍👍👍

Yes and No... imo Yes...as to the ideas of why... No ...as there's no substantial expansion to any of that. It's all.. it might be this...might be that. You see.. nothing has actually been communicated. Nothing. A lot of 'nudge nudge'... followed up by "crickets". We had...announcements that announcements are forthcoming....and then the afore mentioned ....crickets !! Anyone who has ever dealt with any developments knows the nature of the hurdles.. but i can tell you if this were just another Commercial development with any of a number and type of stakeholders there WOULD be updates... be progress, because thats what it's actually about, progression..I.e.. building the building. If there was neither the project managers would be fired and replaced. The notion that no news is acceptable is a nonsense. There may well be constraints but these are not covered by the Secret Squirrel Act. If this is all subject to X Y and Z then a competent management would explain the who, the why and relevant timelines. Thats how it should be done. Then we have the MFC

It does beg the question, for mine, is what we have currently actually 'broken' ? Is it so dire it needs 'fixing' ? Or does someone just want it all warm.and fuzzy ? On first announcement that we might entertain Waverley I thought this might be a resoundingly good idea , as an interim 'solution'. But upon more reflection I just don't see how we're particularly any better off. Got me flummoxed to be honest. If only interim until a possible 'Caulfield ' what ( again) is the real benefit ? If there's no Caulfield then we could be selling ourselves a prime position up Schitts Creek.

I am intrigued as to what, if any, is advantageous to using Waverley ( ostensibly) in any interim. 🤔🤷

To emphasise a point... And yes...purely observational.. and derivative of reports.... I get the impression King's thinking is when you're out there your mind needs to be concentrated on the game... no let up. It's not nearly about you being the very best forward, very best mid, very best back , very best any ducking thing... but it IS about being in the game, in the moment, switched-on.. He'll bollocks a player if he feels warranted He'll sidle up later and take a player through 'whatever' Make no mistake, King has empowered his delegates ( coaches etc ).... but this is HIS show.... Further... I think he knows what he's doing Further to the further... I sense the players think so too. There's a vibe.. We're ON !!
