  1. there's nothing better than commentating from dorcas st, south melbourne, for those games not at the docklands' carpark or the mcg
  2. the pickett reverse goal took the wind completely out of our sails if that had been paid, i was confident we were looking at a 7+ goal win
  3. nothing is impossible these days i don't think if kozi truly does want to go to wa, then we should be looking to strike the best bargain we can for ourselves - can't see that not including the likes of dog jackson returning 'home' to the mfc
  4. it's an incredible comeback from being ditched by first mfc then cfc it will be interesting to see how they combine darcy, jackson, treacy, amiss, and o mac going forward
  5. darcy must love not having to play on gawn
  6. bring porterhouse home! he would definitely be ahead of fullarton, jvr, aj, or any other forward / ruck options at the mfc currently
  7. it's ironic as opposed to "fraudmantle"
  8. porterhouse going well as spare parts ruck for flagmantle
  9. he was, and remains, tall and able to play as #1 gorilla defender good? not really
  10. naicos is unstoppable
  11. any team with a strong midfield and a defensive mindset to stop their overlap run bears, crom, gw$ the best chance of the non-vic crew, and mebbe puddy tatts
  12. momentum is a helluva thing in modern footy
  13. arvos loom, i take it?
  14. similar to the role blake acres has been playing for the baggers
  15. why any player would go 'home' to flagmantle beggars belief - they are continuously mediocre, at best
  16. good runners and, particularly in the case of lindsay, good ball users i can't get over how good lindsay has looked in his debut season
  17. meth coke's trio of talls up front is neither here nor there - if we win the midfield and stop them getting the ball i50 under zero pressure then a lot of the effort is done in terms of beating them i'd personally be bringing in one of jvr or aj for fullarton, and melksham for tholstrup, with the latter moving to sub in lieu of sharp, but i'm not convinced both of melksham and fritsch can play i50, as they don't bring the pressure that tholstrup has done since he returned to the side
  18. 6: Gawn 5: Bowey 4: Salem 3: Sparrow 2: Viney 1: Rivers
  19. hopefully they come alive before the last post
  20. my favourite thing to holler at volume remains POSITIVE LINGERS!!
  21. i think that's why they've tried el jefe as a defender, just to get him to bring some level of intensity into the contest it just doesn't happen
  22. so both chad and koz are out of contract together at the end of 2027, both as free agents flagmantle and meth coke are gonna have conniptions as to who to back the truck up to
  23. contracted til the end of 2026, i think?
  24. spargo is a 100 game premiership player sharp is at his second club and a regular sub starter
  25. no, watts was an afl-level player jefferson barely shows the ability to string consistent footy together at vfl level
