  1. as a neutral, definitely my preference
  2. this seems to be the vibe richo will go soon, and pert will go before the bye next season would be crazy if one player can have such a profound effect on three key off-field roles - president, ceo, and head of football
  3. zorko stinking it up ya hate to see it
  4. cadman and hogan is a helluva tall forward combo
  5. brent daniel on the 45? he reminds me so much of luke breust
  6. they were trying to give tickets away all week no one cares these northern franchises are purely an invention to maximise broadcast rights ironically they cost the competition more to run than they make
  7. jesse's marking and goalkicking is elite
  8. i'd almost prefer liam ryan speedy forwards who put it on the scoreboard and pressure defensively are the key part of modern footy it would seem
  9. just rack?
  10. contested footy
  11. or... what made their side so unique in 2024 will be irrevocably changed, teams have a summer to work out how to curb their ball movement, and they'll be in that clutch of teams batting for 5-13... ...so exactly where they were this year football is crazy even and the margins between positions are slim

i am sure they don't care one iota
  13. with the premium on small forwards quite clear with the way football is being played currently, how high will he rise?
  14. for god's sake man let it go the judgement has been cast and the changes began being made even before that had happened

if we end up with elite training facilities at both caulfield and casey it will be an outstanding result for the club

mcg precinct was dead long ago caulfield will be a far better result imo really hope this is all true
  20. entertaining contest
  21. i'd argue it took trac 5 pre-seasons, not including the one where he did his knee whereas viney came in-built with said tank so...depends on the individual? someone like tapscott could never build it, as an example
  22. this was the first year that sestan has been given significant game time in the middle at vfl level - he deserves at least a full year to get up to the required fitness levels to go from a deep forward to a midfielder from watching a lot of the casey streams in the last few years, what's clear is that the talent and skill is there but the tank and the consistency needs significant improvement i'm confident that sestan has attributes to compete at afl level - i see him as similar to a player like harmes who was far fitter yet still took his time to establish himself in a significantly poorer side, first as a forward who could play a bit as a mid, then as a tagger, then eventually as a second rotation mid in his own right
  23. fingers crossed clayton doesn't have the same slide into ignominy
  24. All these good people staying on? Kulcha
