  3. Bull Smith has been pretty good I reckon; competes in the air and on the ground, is absolutely playing his role well
  4. Excellent second quarter Dominated everywhere but the scoreboard in the first quarter and then put it on there in the second Will be very disappointing if we donā€™t really bury them from here Lever dominant across half back, mids all doing well and Plugger Mac (sorry mum) absolutely glorious up front
  5. why am i always a nervous wreck before the games now that there's an expectation that we will win? life was much easier when we were in the doldrums

we don't have the assets to trade for him free agency all the way - gaff, dahlhaus this year; shiel, coniglio next year

both shiel and martin are in contract and we don't have the assets to trade for either of them shiel will be a free agent at the conclusion of his next contract, as may be martin better to wait til then

  9. i really don't know who to barrack for - can't stand geelong or the peptides...i'm leaning towards supporting the latter because the cats are more of a top 8 threat

  20. for me it'd be 2, 11, 13, and 31 (more from a historical perspective than any recent players, although i love fritsch already) 2: jones, tingay, flower 11: gawn, stynes 13: oliver, yze, jakovich 31: fritsh, grimes, $cully, wheatley...and from a historical perspective rdb
  21. biggest test of his presidency coming up - the appointment of a new ceo
  22. interesting that they say six weeks for avb yet say he'll be playing after the bye; which is in four weeks?
  23. Heā€™s quick but at the moment he a) is not winning enough football and b) turns it over when he gets it He is an ā€œassetā€ for us and if traded Iā€™d hope heā€™d probably be worth a late first or early second round pick, if there is actual demand for his services, which is probably way more than he is actually worth for a bloke who canā€™t make our side at the moment Iā€™d like to see him continue to work on developing his game - he needs to force his way back into the side through weight of won ball and defensive pressure, neither of which he is doing at afl or vfl level at the moment
