  1. need another wicket tonight to get us past 186 i feel...
  2. freo are stuck in that awkward position of beating the poor teams at home, the really poor away, and not being remotely close to those above them i can completely understand why they're targeting hogan, but if they lose neale they're really robbing peter to pay paul their home ground advantage finds them actually stuck btw a rock and a hard place
  3. Gary Buckenara rates him highly: KADE KOLODJASHNIJ: Kolodjashnij has had injury and health issues over the last few years but he has shown himself to be a really good AFL player when fit. I believe he is a potential A-grader, so Gold Coast would want close to A-grade compensation. A first-round pick or a good experienced player would be an ideal trade.
  4. chan marshall sums it up for me with her rihanna cover: Not really sure how to feel about it Something in the way you move Makes me feel like I can't live without you It takes me all the way I want you to stay
  5. Retired: Harley Balic, Bernie Vince Delisted: Tomas Bugg, Lochie Filopovic (rookie), Dion Johnstone, Mitch King, Pat McKenna, Cam Pedersen 7 off the senior list, 1 off the rookie

my bombers mate says 'take him...take him NOW' she thinks he's one of the biggest butchers in their side, and that's when he gets it more than 15 times a game, which is basically never suffice to say, not all peptiders rate him

    hello dean kent
  8. because he wants $1m a year and he ain't worth it going to carlton
  9. we may play there as bernie did this year, but people seem to not realise how young we are as a side next year lewis, jones and garlett will be the only players aged 30 plus on our list; by comparison carlton have six players turning 30+ next season, and collingwood have eight - nearly all of whom remain in the respective side's best possible squads we are still very young and inexperienced and wise old heads like lewis and jones remain valuable at senior level
  10. i've known matt for over a decade, and he's a top fella bloody tough gig he's had, shame we couldn't salute him and pj with a premiership i guess they'll have to cheer us on from the stands next year
  11. as far as i am aware he has been shopped, with zero takers thus far

    get him in
  13. preuss gets #1 cos he's going to be our strawbs o'dwyer circa 88 to max's jimmy may can have #21
  14. wouldn't it simply be replaced with may's salary?
  15. hogan is and will be an absolute superstar the more i think about it the more shattered i am that this generational talent is leaving us fortunately we have two more 'once in a lifetime' players on our list in gawn and oliver
  16. Not true Fritsch, Petty and hopefully Lockhart
  17. really disappointing
  18. He hasn’t been playing as he lacks the fitness to run out a game and he doesn’t impact repeat contests Hell have to learn how Hopefully he can be Strawbs to Maxy’s Jimmy
  19. Glad he’s staying but his second half of the vfl grand final was really not encouraging Here’s hoping he continues to improve
  20. Everything’s coming up Milhaus!
  21. max loves him as well - him talking about preuss tackling t mac in the aflx was comedy gold
  22. Would be very disappointing to lose him
  23. Good point His numbers are similar to Morton Two fat ladies - pick 88 - should get it done?
  24. so so far the retirements, delistings, next gen academy selection, plus trade rumour mill has it as... OUT: Balic, Vince, Bugg, McKenna, King. Pedersen, Filopovic (rookie), Kent (to St. Kilda), Hogan (to Fremantle) IN: Preuss, May, Kade Kolodjashnij, Bedford (likely to cost our first current pick) with four short on the list, i'd like to think we're getting two high end picks PLUS may for hogan, but sadly think it's less rather than more likely plus there's the standard rumour that tyson is on the chopping block, avb and jkh are still yet to be signed as far as i am aware, but presuming they stay and we don't add another experienced player to that list, here's a rough go at best squad for round 1 next year, up against the reigning premiers collingwood on a friday night at the g, with thankfully no fitness concerns... B: Jetta - May - Lever HB: Salem - O Mac - Hibberd ?: Viney - Brayshaw - KK HF: Petracca - T Mac - ANB F: Preuss - Weideman - Melksham Foll: Gawn - Oliver - Harmes I/c: Jones - Spargo - vandenBerg - Fritsch Emerg: Lewis - Frost - Hannan - J Smith Funny that Joel Smith is borderline to get an emergency spot (choice of him or Hunt), in my ideal world, when we most recently played an preliminary final - a change to the side that i completely understood from a match-up point at the time...even if Smith did end up playing forward at stages
