  1. watched swannies do the tigers at the g a few weeks back - their 'kick and catch' approach to the game and speed of ball movement by foot was really good they seemed to revel in the wider open spaces of the mcg will be interesting to see how this evening goes; it feels like a game we COULD drop but i hope i am wrong either way, should be a ripper content of 1 v 4 on the ladder
  2. he'll sign a 6 i reckon, as it'll be better 'brand management' after all the talk about trac's 7-year (which is really 8-year) deal
  3. yes they were poor, but hold fire on judging the tiges just yet - currently missing their engine room in lambert, cotchin, and prestia and their best defender in grimes, with vlastuin playing his first game back in 8 weeks, plus dusty had jet lag i don't think we'd travel too well either in the same circumstances
  4. so she speaks well...but how's her furniture?
  5. did you not see naughton's last week??
  6. wow bt is dumb - literally doesn't understand that if the oppo kick it...and you mark it...it's an intercept mark
  7. tiggas gc17 gw$ filth ...them pear meth coke footscray bears no confidence in suns, giants, pies, swans really
  8. the two ins make sense in terms of comparable out to last week interesting that sydney have gone 'small' defensively but 'tall' up front
  9. speaks well fascinating the amount of people we have in board positions who are not 'native' to football but instead 'adopted' melbourne
  10. i'd rather sing something by tism
  11. we have no idea what the split is as it's an extension of an existing deal it presumably allows us to include the 7 year component in the 8 and a half year payment cycle, if the salary cap allows as such the best players in the competition tend to still be going fairly strong at 33 these days trac is amongst the best players in the competition at 25 years of age with just over 100 games under his belt; sky is the limit dusty hadn't even won three norm smith medals when he got a 7 year deal and that worked out okay for the tiges
  12. harmes is an obvious 'in' over sparrow due to experience, age, and - arguably - diversity it would be understandable if he was selected as he is the one who can roll through the midfield and play that defensive role that we're now lacking in viney's absence
  13. i used to do so, and my cousin was mad for em
  14. he might be the fall guy for now, but i'm worried they're gonna come for our tim (sacrificial) lamb
  15. remember when everyone thought brent grgic was gonna be the second coming of garry lyon?
  16. she went overseas to help her daughter's final part of pregnancy and arrival she'll be back soon, ready to stick the knives in and talk up the tigers
  17. ANB is far greater priority to me than weed
  18. i started on the 'ology when tim was healthy and running it, and migrated here at some point down the line
  19. jdg is on over $800k a year, from all reports he's not worth it
  20. goodwin was adamant in his press conference today that he's going nowhere so far in the last 12 months he's said the same about viney, oliver, salem, and petracca on the basis of results thus far, he's been, as they say, on the money
  21. I look at the likes of Robbie Gray who is still playing great footy at 33 - predominantly as a forward - and think ‘Trac can be better than that’
  22. Loving the media agitation calling for the AFL to challenge the tribunal decision
  23. methinks young tom means 'eke' but...who cares about grammar and spelling at a time like this happy days
  24. fantastique result now we can go back to working out whether t mac back and weed in is better than petty in and plugger stays forward
