Green, Sylvia, Johnson, Rivers & Jamar attract interest..
Arem replied to Tolstoys Nudge's topic in Melbourne Demons
Can I put this quote in my signature. It must be awfully difficult to put someone on the table, but at the same time not mention said person. :D Maybe they wrote his name on a piece of paper and passed it across the table. :D -

If you're going to these make up, at least try to make them half realistic. -

He's mentioned on his show that he supports Melbourne, also mentioned in this interview. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=le7ttiQ6_Eg

Morton will be trimmed off that bench by the looks of it.
-
Lol, check out that half forward line.

Huh, I thought Jackovich was excluded due to a minimum game requirement, yet we've (deservedly) included 33-gamer Harold Ball. <_<

YZE_MAGIC and others about to have heart palpitations
Arem replied to realist's topic in Melbourne Demons
Nothing more pathetic than an 'I know something you don't know, but i'm not telling' thread. FWIW, i'd imagine this is about Bruce, Green and Yze all making the 150. -

Young side this week. Average age = 22.3 In fact, Brad Green is the only player over 24 and under 28.

You're clearly not familiar with that particular site. -
The proposed situation for the 2010 Draft - disaster or potential goldmine?
Arem replied to e25's topic in Melbourne Demons
We'd be lucky to snag a half empty packet of tim-tams for Cameron Bruce in 2010 let alone pck 17. -
Win vs Bulldogs last year the most costly in the clubs history
Arem replied to Yze_Magic's topic in Melbourne Demons
Congratulations, your thread made the herald sun. God journalists are lazy these days. http://www.news.com.au/heraldsun/sport/afl...0-19742,00.html -
1991 - round 1 v West Coast We were 0.0 at quarter time, 0.1 at half time, and finished the game with 2 goals. West Coast won by 79 points. The following week we kicked 27.18 against Fitzroy and won by 131 points. A lazy 210 point turnaround!

Don't give sportsbet your money, give it to me, i'll give you 50-1.

I see your Isaac Weetra and raise you Colin Garland.

Just had a quick look at Carlton's recruiting since 1995, the following is a list of their first pick in each draft. 1995 - Adrian Burdon 1996 - Jim Walters 1997 - Kris Massie (pick7) 1998 - Murray Vance (pick6) 1999 - Richard Kelly 2000 - Luke Livingston (pick4) 2001 - Justiin Davies 2002 - Tim Fleming 2003 - Andrew Walker (pick2) It's a lottery, sometimes you get lucky, sometimes you don't.
-
15 clubs passed on Simon Black, 15 clubs passed on Adam Goodes. I don't think you understand just how much of a lottery the draft actually is.
-
Who? Luke Power, who else? Besides, it was always going to be Johnstone or Ottens, and i'm certaintly not devastated about missing out on Ottens

If you had told me this time last year that the site would be less user-friendly in 2008 than 2007, i wouldn't have believed you. On first inspection it looks like a 'work experience kid' designed site, but there is not a chance in hell that a 15 year old kid could design something that poor. It's a shame really that something we love is insulted like this.
