This hasn’t really got anything to do with this weeks goals of the week but I’ll put it here anyway. I’ve been thinking the last couple of weeks how with all the goals we’ve kicked over the last month, none of them have been jaw dropping pulled out of your arse goals, or flukes or lucky bounces. They’ve pretty much all been standard, well structured goals. Shows how well everything is working. [censored] we’re boring.

Dean Terlich and Jamar should get it done. But seriously, not a need. We need more of a Toumpas type ironically enough. Gaff or gtfo.

I’d delist him a rerookie him just to see if he goes into supersonic overdrive.

And how we’d use them these days... drool.

The no finals for x amount of years priority pick should be implemented immediately. A first rounder will be a nice bonus to go with our flag.

The speed he moves at whilst fully bent over to pick up the hard ball, then rarely ever fumble it, is just something else. You see players do it now and then, he does it every single time. And has 3 options sorted before he’s picked it up. Freak talent, that I think only us Dees will ever truly appreciate. Maybe if he’s highlighted in a finals series/flag the plebs will take full notice.

Vince has been nowhere near horrible this season. He’s been good in most every game, very good v Adelaide. The odd [censored] kick clouds too many people’s overall judgement. Guilty of it myself.

Makes you wonder how good Tom would be if he’d been a forward right from the start. (In a good team that is, never went down there in his early years with us.) It is a dynamic duo, and both have become so reliable. If Jesse doesn’t kick a bag he’s up the field creating chances for Tom, Hannan and Melksham to impact the scoreboard. It’s a beautiful mix at the moment. The only way to stop it is to smash us in the middle all day. Where Tom and Jesse can go and have a say in that, too.

Most appreciated BB. The part I put in bold is a real killer, it hurt us a lot earlier in the season, and very little since Lever found form. The selectors won’t enjoy seeing that. Nice to read Dion is showing something, no better mentor and example to follow than Nev, here’s hoping.

He’s kicked 7.8, so you’re about 40% off. Woeful wouldn’t kick 2 checksides in a row from the boundary either. But yeah, his ball drop makes it 50/50.
