I noticed that when Mackay fumbled that ball and Melksham pounced, no one went and got stuck in, I think Melksham thought about it for a split second but just celebrated with Hogan. Petracca was in the vicinity too. No doubt in my mind they would’ve been all over Mackay last year. No doubt Goodwin’s message of being a strong but humble footy team is sinking in. For the record I wouldn’t let Mackay hear the end of it.

They’re always wrong anyway. I’d be more worried if they were all over us.

Was almost obvious without even seeing that article. When the ball goes towards him I’m always confident he’s gunna win. Great body position always and a hard match up. Having a ripping season.

But apart from that they’re fairly optimistic... It’s amazing what some beltings do. Like peak Hawthorn and Grant Thomas’ Saints, half the battle is won before the ball is bounced.

The males on Fox Footy are as just as bad or worse. That includes former players. I’m liking what Nick Riewoldt brings, though. Couldn’t stand him when he was playing.
