I’d get it if everyone was playing well and you just got pushed out. But if you’re not playing well and get dropped I’d prefer you earned selection rather than get named on reputation.

Not so good for the morale of the players that did play for Casey and played well. I’m referring to Tyson, but I’ve never liked it, it’s not just about him.

Never understood how a player gets dropped, doesn’t play, then gets named in the squad the next week.

My brain didn’t understand why he was sitting on the ground and taking so long to get up on the weekend. It’s never happened before.

We should start Lever in the goal square, see if anyone gifts us the first goal.

It’s ridiculous. Couple of people made a mistake, a bloke apologises because he’s a nice bloke, then people jump up and down because people got offended. It was a bunch of nothing, and people overreacting like everyone does to everything these days. People need to chill.

I was his biggest critic. Saw him a lot at Essendon and didn’t like what I saw there. Liked him even less when he started with us. But like Tomald, the move forward is a master stroke. You can go for attacking left foot kicks in the forward 50, if it comes off, brilliant, if it doesn’t, oh well. Up the ground there are more consequences if it doesn’t come off He’s excellent 1 on 1 forward of the ball. His goal kicking misses don’t worry me, it’s rife through the whole comp, he’s been a bit yippy but is generally a good kick at a goal. I was wrong, been a great addition to the team.

Has an uncanny ability to avoid being tackled too. Just a smart mover around the field. Absolute gem of a player.

I think he’s been good this year (apart from the idiotic kicks at times) and I’m one of his biggest fans. But no way do I want him going around again. Love what he’s given us but it’s coming to an end. Someone needs to step up or get someone else in for the role.

How many times have Carlton been beaten by 109 and The Suns 69? Yeah it’s been an easy patch of games, and we’ve made easy work of it. Last year we would’ve dropped one or two of them or at the least slugged out ugly wins.
