  1. I do, will sell them for $10,000
  2. I'm preparing for the worst possible news to come our way... Clark and Jones locked up... In a Bangcock prison, looking at life, for killing Tom McDonald and Jeremy Howe. Moloney knuckles down, signs 3 year deal.
  3. Dumbest player I've seen in years. Offers absolutely nothing, can't see what the coaches and other supporters see in him. He makes the dumbest decisions every week, and when he makes the right one the disposal is terrible.
  4. How about his first game against us over there? Winning goal after the siren with the worst kick you'll see. The knife doesn't just get stuck into this club, it gets twisted and jiggled around too.
  5. Someone fix Demonology so Picket Fence gets the f out of here.
  6. Yes, because.... Oh, ohhh I see what you did there!
  7. He said it was EASIER. He didn't say it was EASY.
  8. A wise man once said " If you believe you can get the ball, just jump and have a crack at it!" Take note, Jack Watts, take note. For those of you playing at home, Jeremy Howe said it about an hour ago on facebook.
  9. This newest season of Breaking Bad is the bomb, yo! Seriously good viewing, the latest episode was intense. The character development in the show is incredible, unless they f... up the ending, it'll go down as my all time favourite show. There's a break after next weeks episode... boooooooooooooooooo
  10. Hahaha. Must be one of those retro shops.
  11. I agree, which is why I highlighted the whole forward line is lacking. We have a garbage midfield, it's no secret, yet we aren't doing too bad at getting it forward in quite a few games, which tells me we're getting things somewhat right, we just don't have the cattle to get it right and do it extremely well. Releasing the shackles or whatever this thread is about is absurd. What, they're suddenly all going to run forward of the ball and get hit by lace-out passes and start slotting goals on the run against a Ross Lyon coached Freo to entertain us fans as a going away present? Oh how my belly laughs.
  12. He always did, and usually made short work of it. Bless that man.
  13. The shackles that saw us have the same number of inside 50's as Adelaide? We have no forward line. IF we had Clark, if we had Jurrah, if Green wasn't past it, if Howe didn't have to spend so much time being a midfielder, if Watts could be a forward.... we'd have been a lot closer on the scoreboard in quite a few games. If only. Shackles Shmackles
  14. Port looking to climb down the ladder then. Good luck to Moloney whatever happens, always liked him, but his time as an effective footballer is over.
  15. I agree, everyone else is overrated.
  16. He knows I'm coming.
  17. Thank you sir. Couldn't hear Eddie, although I could smell something.
  18. I wasn't commenting on that era as a whole, it's pretty obvious what the players I mentioned above got away with week after week with no real change over the journey. It's something this culture needs to weed out. No player is perfect, but there are simple things everyone needs to do to be part of a great team. Looking back from where we are now, I do appreciate the Daniher era more than I did back then.
  19. Laughable. It's a good trick to have, he's doing his assigned job better than most and he'll do it when we play well or poorly. Can anyone tell me if it was Jordie that lay the front on tackle on Scott Thompson in the first quarter? I was distracted and thought it may have been Blease, surely not?
  20. I didn't bother with that thread. I'm all about what we can do now, not what those whom aren't even with us any more didn't do back when.
  21. So do I. Watts is so "Daniher era", in that like Trapper, Yze, Bruce, Robbo, Beamer etc... there's a glaring deficiency that doesn't seem to be being rectified, at least from the outside looking in, as I mentioned above Watts is still playing like he did in that Carlton game, so it seems he gets a pass mark even with soft efforts. If that is the case, shouldn't he have been at Casey already? Sending him there next year for no improvement could decrease his market value, what if someone was willing to pay a nice price for him now? Half back flankers with nice disposal are more easily developed or traded for than say a good key forward or key mid. I don't see Watts ever being a good key forward, certainly not a finals winning key forward. I think I lean towards shopping him around now, this coaching panel and recruiting staff (do we have any?) had nothing to do with drafting Watts, so it won't be seen as a fail for their past efforts. It'd be a gamble to see what they could get in return though. I don't see it happening, but I think I'd be all for it. [Edit] I trailed off where I was going with the Daniher era bit... We are trying to build a new culture, hard working, selfless young leadership group to set the examples for years to come. I don't see Watts fitting into that in any way shape or form.
  22. I wasn't speaking to you cheersquad boy, I was talking to people with realistic opinions which I value. And no, Neeld will do what I damn well tell him to do.
  23. Oh thank god for that. I can now rest easy.
  24. So then what happens? Do they let him play on his terms because he's a #1 pick with nice skills and hope that the penny (or his balls) drops? Do they drop him to Casey until he consistently plays with intent to get the ball before anyone else? Let him coast until another coach comes along and does a Travis Johnstone-esque statement? Trade him now? What is a potential solution to this problem?
  25. Good comparison, both very good at 2 sports, nice hands and elite(or thereabouts) by foot. Perhaps Brad could mentor Jack. I wouldn't hold my breath on Watts just because Green became courageous though. The thing I wonder about is what the coaches are thinking or what Watts is being told. Months ago, I think it was against Carlton I saw a couple of the most pathetic instances of Watts not jumping into/over a marking contest that you'll ever see and voiced my displeasure. Do the coaches do that? Is anyone setting any standards for this guy to follow or is he just allowed to run around and rack up possessions to justify his spot? I mean Lynden Dunn was moved back there and did the same job FFS, as H says, playing in defence isn't hard, anyone can do it it seems. It's the same thing over and over again, I argue with my uncle about this all the time, he keeps going back to Watts' skills and that he'll be a good player. No one is disputing that, he has skills and will be a good player, but there are hundreds of good players. Watts' attributes should make him a great player, the way he plays will hold him back until he changes or someone drills it into him. I doubt it can happen from what I've seen.
