I've vouched for his leadership in the past, out one night, Cameron Bruce tried to round up the troops as it was getting late, no one listened. 5 Minutes later Moloney said let's go and everyone up and left. In hindsight, he was probably just leader of the party boys, he was popular amongst 'the boys' - not necessarily a true football leader. Especially not in the eyes of the new regime, who have assembled a pretty top notch group of leaders for our players to follow. Beamer went from top dog to on the outer, and the example not to follow. I don't think it sat well with him, his footy was deplorable this year which renders him useless. Age and lack of speed just add to why it wasn't worth keeping around and trying to fit him back in.

Just wondering if someone can tell me why GC traded pick 2 for Jack Martin? I have watched FA junior footy this year so I have no idea how talented he is, however I just wonder a bit about trading pick 2 for the best 17 year old and waiting a year, rather than draft the 2nd best 18 year old now. Is Martin that much better than Toumpas? Could be a stupid question, but I have my moments.

If this was the actual plan, and we got them both. Mitch would be doing a lot more ruck work I would think. As good as he is in the ruck, he's a power forward and should stay there.

Both? What's going here? Firstly it'd be ridiculous, we'd be the tallest team in the history of the world for a start. Dawes is leaving the Pies because he cracked the sads about being one of 3 forwards. Not sure why Gumbleton wants a move, but I'd assume similar reasons. So why would we release a statement saying we want both of them, especially when Hogan will step in in '14. Someone will then need a 3rd home. Not that getting both would ever happen, just seems a silly mistake to make, like trying to hedge our bets, but could turn both of them off.

Do it. We need filler until Hogan is ready. Doesn't really matter who, we need a big unit so Mitch doesn't have to smash a pack of 8 to get us our one goal of the quarter. Might seem desperate, but hey, we are desperate for now.

Have there ever been more stories or "I heard" anecdotes about one kid? Dwayne the moron Wussell is going to have a field day. Anyway, I heard the final Expandables movie is only going to have one cast member, Jack Viney. There's an evil clone of him and they have to fight 'til the death. The movie goes for 9 hours and there is no ending.

Could the Bulldogs getting Hawthorn's first pick add something towards their bid for Hogan? If there's even any doubt that us and GWS have done a deal that is.

I don't know, I'm warming to Dawes, especially for a pick 20 or beyond. We still need someone to split the heat with our lord and saviour Mitch Clark next season. We need to start getting results. Hogan will still take time even in his debut year and more. If Dawes finds some form, we win. If he is a wasted pick 20ish and Hogan over takes him, we still win. If we end up with too many big men in good form, well then there's some trade value in the bank.

Just read all 108 pages, and I think, correct me if I'm wrong here, GC may bid pick 2 on Viney, if they do, we'll have to use pick 3 to draft him. Well worth the 108 page read.
