  1. part of the reason we are 2-9, he isnt the hardest player in our club and never will be but he isnt soft but doesnt go all the time like a jones or mclean. lets face it, i love bruce, he aint a superstar, that is bandied around way to much, yes he is a great player on his day a star, today his kicking was atrociuos and he needs to drop the ball closer to his foot, drops the ball way to high.
  2. mclean = Melbourne Football Club bate was awesome robbo a star (but it should have been 8 ) neitz was influencial so many good points we won when we butchered the ball quite a bit bruce's kicking was poor, green was quietish today but stood up in the last quarter when it was required ward is still terrible with his kicking davey had a shocking day with his kicking but we beat the filth and we can do it again come round 21!
  3. was this for all members? i didnt know anything about it
  4. he has been playing great football lately, and if he can start putting the ball between the big sticks he will be on his way to a solid ruckman
  5. me too, id love to hear it too has to be the captain next year
  6. nietz spoke about the possibility of sharing the captaincy next year, i say neita, no need the CHOOKA! is and will be the captain for the next 10 years starting from round 1 next year!
  7. well done jimmy! a true champion player and person
  8. as i missed the second half of the season last year all i was reading on the net was how good this kid was and i was glad to see him play in the nab cup so i could see what everyone was on about, but yep jones, mclean and petterd are my fav 3 at the moment
  9. agree nasher he was good fun when he popped over last year, a bit of good banter, much better than others from other clubs have or would have been
  10. well my mum is a swans supporter as she grew up across the road from the ground, my sister chose richmond, it was dad who choose melbourne which was a big thing in dads family as they were all carlton, then dads youngest brother chose the bullies. dad said to me you can follow anyone except carlton and collingwood but if you ever want to go to a game you better follow melbourne, the sealer was dads best mate lived behind robbir flower and he game me an autograhed melbourne plaque and i was then a demon for life. all of this occured when i was about 5, but i had said demons from birth pretty much, that was the sealer!
  11. not really as we have bartram and moloney and even picket who can swing through the centre as well as green, sylvia, bate and bruce who you havent named in the centre
  12. cant agree on harvey, he was playing great football until his injury
  13. im glad, he is playing great football and id rather see him go out like this than play crap football and just dissapear or worse get dropped
  14. haha the number plate on my vespa is 426 and i laugh everytime i see it
  15. just said cross has strained medial and griffen a dislocated knee cap good news on both if the scans dont reveal more
  16. bloody croydon! i hated them nearly as much as lilydale! who did you play for?
  17. griffen looks to have done the lot, i reckon he would be thinking if only i had handballed instead of taking the second tackle on cross maybe a medial
  18. not that big a fan of brown but he was 1,000 times better than ward, i watched the replay and ward massacred the ball 3 times in a row in the last quater alone!
  19. 62,000 if the weather is bad 70+ if its good, the pies are flying and the fans will turn up in there droves
  20. still you would be mad to knock a quality midfield player back if you could pick him up for a decent trade you would be mad not to take him or at least bargain for him.
  21. i dont know why people dont like del, i think he would be a great addition to our midfield, means when you change the midfield you dont lose anything i must admit ive never thought him soft and the stats provided proves that, like the people who have thought green was soft, whilst not a mclean or jones still goes when he is required
  22. brown might then meet him again 2 weeks later on friday night football!
  23. it was more frustration than pain, ever been so angry you pretty much tear right up, i have!
  24. id take both but id rather reiwoldt over del as we do need a good CHF
