What was with the swans supporters bring allowed into the Melbourne reserved seat area of the southern stand? I know people spoke to the MCC green shirts but nothing happened. Any one know why this was allowed?

My view on last night. Jamar needs to better direct his taps and stop running under the ball at the bounce. Viney had a mare with getting caught and disposal but not once did he get down on himself and crack it, he just went harder more often. Love this kid. JKH looked good in traffic up and around the ground, was a bit surprised by that. Terlich, love his effort but FFS he is the worst kick. McDonald is a great defender but some one needs to help him with his awareness as he has zero! Bail... That game being your 50th save you from the red vest. Jetta... I've been one of if not the biggest critic from day one, but he showed a bit last night (still not convinced but his defensive efforts and spoils were first class) and I was stunned to see him get the vest and not Bail, Howe or Watts. Watts...ummm....yup.... Salem, from behind and a bit of distance looks like Gazza, on what he showed will be better than Gazza. Trying to keep a lid on it, but I have a saucepan lid and a dump truck of excitement. Dawes and Cross, showing the way you have to work and run, they will be the building blocks for us to become a team of elite hard workers.

Yep, but I think that we will get flogged in every game, sad but true. Not one game I ever go to anymore do I honestly think we are a good chance to win this. I usually only see us being... Well, us. And the opposition playing well and flogging us.

Chippy, I know a few service men and I even have a Air Force cadet (last year) working for me and they are the same, they are so flat out that day that there is no way they could make the game. If you watch "Roos views" (stupid name for a "show") he says he wants players to be banging the door down, playing 5-6 good games, Salem has played 3, but said his name gets bought up at selection when he plays well. I wouldn't expect him in this week, I think another 1, possibly 2 good Casey games then in.

I thought I heard on the radio (josh m maybe?) that he was 2-3 from playing with Casey, then 2-3 games there. That there was a slight amount of soreness a few weeks ago that pushed him back a little and they bought his work load right back again.

Only being able to scrape 33k members after getting Roos, PJ getting sponsors etc is [censored] poor. Would not surprise me if the AFL were looking at a 16 team comp by merging some or at least relocating a few teams. If it happens we can only blame our own "supporters"

There is a time for it, but it needs to be long and close to the boundary. Some times the long kick was the right option as there was a 1v1, 2v2 down the line.

What we need is smart footballers who can use the ball and see the good leads of other smart footballers. So often I see a good lead to a good spot not honoured due to they either cannot see it, or does not have the ability to hit that target. I'd rather we recruited players who can use it. Blease has speed, can't kick for shite, but has speed. Can't get the pil often, but has speed. Foot speed gets over rated, quick thinkers, quick movers who can bloody use it.

I'd like Salem to come in, but if Roos thinks he needs another game or two I'll try and stay patient.

I'm considering running onto the field so I get banned for life and I have a legitimate excuse why I don't have to sit and watch this rubbish.

What a shite team we are. So many players should not play next week. Can't even handball 5 meters and keep it flat, they shite themselves every time there is a little pressure. Lucky Carlton were pathetic last week.
