We will lose by 8 goals.

Agree, commentate on the game, special comments should be comments, not bloody sermons. I have favourite commentators in NFL and EPL but not AFL.
-
Guantanamo Bay should torture their inmates by making them listen to Darcy ramble on about utter shite.

I've never understood what he offered on the field, thought to delist him at the end of the year was a great idea. Was mystified to see him get rookied as I thought it would be better to rookie a duck as if would offer as much. Having said that, I will watch with interest to see if Roos can get something out of him. Would love to be proven wrong, but think I'll sit there tomorrow saying "why?"

Match Preview and Team Selection - Round 5

A lot will be in the member area if you have reserved seats, the cheer squad is behind goals in the southern stand, try there or the pockets of the southern stand. -

Gorgoroth replied to Rod Grinter Riot Squad's topic in Melbourne Demons
I'll be happily proven wrong but I have never seen what the fuss is with him, he has shown glimpse here then 12 weeks later another. But once again I'm not an expert and maybe Roos will get the best out of him. But my mind just says Next. -

33, 175 Hopefully after this win it gets closer to 34k Still disappointing not to be at 35 at least. -
Howe atill needs to work on how to track a player and the ball at the same time. He did get better in the second team.

So two points that made his top 10 likes 3. Book ends Chris Dawes and James Frawley up one end and Tom McDonald up the other. Dawes was a focal point and pushed himself upfield to be the target, and his goal from 55m in the third quarter was a game breaker. Frawley was the fierce competitor and together with Dawes they supplied four goals, while Frawely took 14 marks. McDonald probably played his best game for the club. Cant remember him being beaten in a one-on-one and his rebound was terrific. And I like his nickname: T-Mac. 4. Melbourne As a whole. Watched from the bottom deck in the members and the joy on the faces of Melbourne fans in the final quarter was immense. There was so much to like. This wasnt won in five minutes, it was won because Melbourne controlled the contest for the 60 minutes after half-time. It was sustained pressure and run which won them the game, something we havent seen at the Demons for some time. Have to confess that I havent rated Nathan Jones as high as others, believing he was largely an and in-and-under player. Hes more than that and I was wrong. The last bit made me smile and Kudos for finally realising how good Jones is!

Dawes just on Ed and Derms big week in footy
Gorgoroth replied to Gorgoroth's topic in Melbourne Demons
Yep, speaks exceptionally well. Loved that he said the confidence was up but also put the heat on the team by saying the suns are ripe for the picking. Make the boys lift by knowing the suns will come at them. -

Dawes called Misson and Roos, stated his case, wanted to play as he knew the team really needed a forward. Pleased that we could give up 3 goals and then catch them and pass it when in years gone by it would have been the end of us. Says Roos ability to know when to give a hard direct speech and when to back it off a bit without giving in on the non negotiables. Eddie said the club handled the Clark situation extremely well. Dawes relieved, borderline happy that Clark retired as he believes it would have killed him. Said the confidence is up, Suns are ripe for the picking, and it is great the players have to prove themselves in the VFL prior to getting back into the seniors.- 57 replies

As topic said, the new show on now on foxtel will have Chris Dawes on shortly.

Thanks WJ. From what you saw, who will be in line to replace Terlich?
-
Nah I think it's more cos he is way out of form, once he did a couple good things in the second half he actually then flew for a couple.
-
How is Salem going WJ? Where are they playing him?
-
Kent was decent but he did just slap it on his boot a couple of times and turn it over, needs composure at times but that should come with a few more games under the belt.
-
Sassy, there has to be one, Terlich pinged a hammy. Garland will play VFL before AFL I think.
-
Because I rate him higher than most on here. I think he chases and pressures well, uses the ball well and when the side starts playing better like they did yesterday he will come into the game a lot more.
-
Thanks Jumbo.
-
I'm hoping Toumpas can come back in.
-
Can you elaborate Jimbo? I didn't hear that.
