I honestly think both offences should beat the opponents D, it will possibly come to special teams/turn overs. I think both teams score 24+
-
Massive loss, means the pass rush on Purdy won’t be as good, they were great at creating pressure with only the front 4.
-
Niners got what should have been an interception that turned into a 53y gain, a one handed catch across the middle that was epic but also such a bad option/attempt. Goff slightly missed Reynolds on a fourth down that really he prob should catch and Reynolds also missed a sitter on 3rd down, he just flat dropped it with no pressure. Purdy suddenly became Lamar and made great plays with his legs. Lions should have been able to hold on/win that game but their second half was as bad as the niners got good, but either will be up against it in the SB. What made the niners great through the year is not working at the moment.
-
Massive luck in a few instances got the niners going and the way cashed in. Detroit fell apart in the end. The Reynolds drop wide open was pretty much the end. Chiefs will on form win back to back.
-
Mahomes and Kelce for the win. Flowers killed the comeback with the taunting then having the ball knocked out of his hand at the 1 yard line.

It’s funny I have a love/hate relationship with Him. His bend but not break mentality when we had a great D frustrated me, this year with a D full of rookies and no bodies he got the best of them. I wish him luck, now we have to find more coaches to go under McVay.

Ravens 11points Detroit 3 points (I do think the filthy niners will win, but I want the Lions to win 😄)

PRESEASON TRAINING: Wednesday 24th January 2024
Gorgoroth replied to Demonland's topic in Melbourne Demons
How is JVR looking in terms of size and is he mainly leading towards players or playing higher up and coming back towards goal? -
For me of the Lions can stop the run as well as they have and Deebo not 100% it means they have a chance to keep the score down. The Oline for the lions could be the biggest factor. Give Goff a clean pocket and he can hurt them. The Mahomes factor will be big but with their secondary banged up a bit and the run game of Ravens being very good I can’t see how they get enough stops on D, Ravens will end up with a bigger time possession by games end but as said. Mahomes can Mahomes.

It would win a few games, and tbh would prob beat teams we have fielded in the past.

Detroit need to bring their best run defence and they are one of the best. McCaffrey can ruin the game. The Detroit oline has been great but the niners rush and pressure is next level. Ravens should beat Chiefs and beat them, whilst not comfortably I think they will control the game from start to end.
-
Allen missed a few easy throws late to go for it all. Outside of the Bills avoiding the Chiefs in the playoffs, they need to change things up. I know the missing linebackers would have hurt but Kansas secondary was banged up too.

Lions TD to Gibbs. this second half has been fun so far.
-
Huge sack by Hutchison, takes them outta FG range
-
Huge play by the Buccs with 1:19 left in the half, 90 yard drive and we are tied! Evans was great.
-
3s to go til the half, Lions are looking better than Buccs, but the Buccs are starting to look a little better, and the FG hits the upright… 3-10 lions way.

Ok, so my stupid family are in the way of me watching any games this Sunday and next Sunday I won’t get to the game before 3pm if everything goes my way. 😡🤬😡🤬😡🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬 Houston @ Baltimore 10 Green Bay @ San Francisco 17 Tampa Bay @ Detroit 9 Kansas City @ Buffalo 14

It’s like that more in the playoffs tho.

I agree with what Marcus and Dan were saying on NFL live, Chargers seem the best for for him.

Raheem Morris has interviews with Seattle, chargers, panthers, commanders.

Eagles were putrid and got only worse at the end. Godert got hit low into the knee like Higbee at the end of the game.
-
Well they have for multiple sections ie, QB’s, linemen, like the helmet to helmet on a defenceless receiver I reckon the below the knee contact will be next. And I understand why he did it, his size vs Higbee means he needs to chop him down cos a stand up hit means the bigger player usually wins. If it does come in, could change the dynamic of bigger receivers and tight ends.
-
Adam Scheffter is saying Higbee looks like he suffered a ACL on that low hit when he went for the catch. New rule inc? It’s been on the cards a few times.
-
Look it’s a hold but it’s on the minor side, some of the hits throughout the game meant that the minor ones were getting through. I didn’t think they would call it and they didn’t. We hung in tough. Puka, Kupp and Robinson with Williams in the backfield are going to cause problems. The off season we gotta draft and trade for Secondary players. Im happy for Goff and Reynolds. And I hope they do well.

Big stop. I’m in giant clench mode
