Goodwins game plan is outdated and if we are meant to not bomb it long (doubt it) then the players aren’t listening to the coaches, so it’s either a shizen boring game plan or the players don’t care to play to his game plan. And nothing I have seen over the season so far inc Praco matches leads me to believe that we are not a slow chip kick, long down the boundary line team, then blast it long to the pocket in the f50. So which is it? Players ignoring the game plan? Or Goodwin is lying about the game plan? Either way is bad, either way leads to a horrible spectacle for people to sit through.

Look, let’s face it, today’s performance was as good as Goodwins wedding outfit.

I just tried to turn my tv back on and it’s now died, I think it was afraid I might watch the replay.

The loss is bad enough. But we are boring to watch, we are a slow, stop start side that has no strengths outside of contested possessions and when teams matchup it equals a loss. it’s been this way for years and Goodwin said we were changing our game plan up and we haven’t changed a single thing. I don’t enjoy watching us play, even when we win it’s slow, sluggish and bland, just like the coach wants. Strap in people cos nothing will change, Essendon will get a top 5 pick from us and we will do it all again next year with the same promises.

Lucky North didn’t capitalise early in the qtr, Chin, Oliver, Rooter started well. things changed towards the end of the qtr, we seemed to take the game on more which is lovely to see.

What we don't need is slower players who get 5 possessions and cant kick over 30 meters. Unfortunately, outside of Kozzie, we dont have any decent small forwards. But in an attacking sense Spargo is far from the answer.

Lindsay looks like a steal, what composure for a first gamer. Sharp looked decent too. Ironically the game was lost by some of the old habits, Salem doing 10m dinky kicks in the wet was terrible, the one to sharp at the 50 to a contest was dumb when there was a long option that puts the ball deep in the F50. We did much better than I was expecting.

I worry that our game plan will be slow and long as per Freo game and the game will be over by half time.

Ok, on other news Miles Garrett re-signs with Browns for $40m. Bosa looks like joining his brother at the Niners. Bills release Von Miler. Bills se-sign Allen, 6yrs, $330m, $250m guaranteed. Vikings release Darnold. Vikings re sign Aaron Jones.

Rams sign Devonte Adams to a 2yr $46m ($26m guaranteed). Stafford will have Adams and Nacau as his 2 receivers with Atwell and I assume Whittingham as the 3rd and 4th. Kupp will be cut, Robinson possibly let go to free agency.
