  1. Just probably that "things are still in the works" "Be Patient" etc etc :P
  2. I reckon both will benefit by the likes of Langford and X next year, players who can run through the middle and use it better but also open more space for them.
  3. Yeah the young kids are showing some good mettle. I'm gla to see Tholstrup get into the game, he has the ability to be a very hard working player who influences games if he can put it all together, sort of like Rayner is finally doing at the Lions
  4. I don't subscribe to the corrupt umpire thing, do I think they make horrible calls, sure but we get them too. But they are an uncontrollable in a game that's full or controllable instances. And we have made way too many bad decisions in the game to say they are the reason.
  5. It’s the same ol’ same ol’ isnt it. Now forget the umpires, they are an easy out and an uncontrollable entity. What we can control is Fritta playing on twice without looking, one led to a turn over and a goal, the other a point instead of a sure goal. Disco kicking long to an out number when he had 3 teammates within 10 meters and 1 filth player. Turn over, goal. Kozzie trying a don’t argue in tight spaces, then putting the ball on the ground, 50 meter penalty, goal. The usual blasting forward to contests in our f50 (usually outnumbered). However had how many interceptions by the end? We didn’t try and negate him, just kicked it at him. When we had all the momentum in the second qtr we still managed to kick 2.4 to 4.0, classic Melbourne. How many missed tackles did we have? How often did Sidebottom run away and through our players? We have only ourselves to blame as per usual, but feel free to hate the umps if it makes you feel better.
  6. I mean is it Goodwin telling them to bomb in long as per the years prior, or is he now telling them not to and they aren’t listening to him? We burn chances at hitting a target for a long bomb to a contest (mostly outnumbered) like no other club ever has. Why are we always outnumbered? Because every coach knows we still bomb long, occasionally we get out head right and play smart, mostly it’s under 10s slam it on the boot stuff. But he ain’t being sacked this year or this off season. We can’t afford to pay him out, so buckle up and “enjoy?” The ride.
  7. Just cut and paste one of the thousand we can’t hit a target in f50 with a billion inside 50s and still behind/loss.

Biggest thing I think the pacers do is out run other teams, their pace is relentless nd they also defend very well. TBH OKC turned them over 18 times in the first half for only 9 pts, the game should have been done at the half.

Amazing fun to watch. I’m a Wolves fan so I’m all in on the Pacers. They have the best fighting mentality in all sport I reckon, 8-1 in clutch this playoffs
  11. Typical, we have kicked the AFL balls out of bounds... Prob whilst we were having shots at goal...
  12. I was going to put him down for 4 as well but I got too depressed and moved on. Smart footballer, sort of like Melksham in th way he uses his body
  13. If we keep this under a 10goal loss it will be a miracle. Elliot will kick 5, Hill 4 and Daicos boys will have 75 between them. We will kick 3.12 most likely
  14. I mean I don't want to say good... But...
  15. Goals per qtr is the top row As far as I could accurately count :P Here is all our qtrs since Goodwin took over, 1 goal qtrs are well up this year, for me the interesting qtrs are the 3-4 goal qts, thats where you keep the scoreboard ticking and already having 7 games where we have score more points than goals is bad, but ironically he worst year was 21 when we won the flag, but that was also 3 more games. Not sure if this is helpful, interesting etc But maybe someone will enjoy it :)
  16. I can say I've not seen them much my way in last few months, and we have them around us all the time. And the ground out my way is still cracked and dry, I havent mowed the lawn in months, prob should check the battery on the ride-on come to think of it... ha ha
  17. Worthy of the great Ox's #5 Been a pleasure to watch the 200 games.
  18. Not sure the lyrical content of Angel of Death would pass muster. Raining blood tho... thats what we should run out too each game. Did make me think, what song would I choose... it would be so hard to chose only one... Be funny if someone chose party cannon and because of the logo they thought it would be fine... then it played... ha ha ha ha
  19. I mean I was going to say Guns of Brixton but they dont deserve to use a good song ha ha
  20. Agree but he could have chosen a better song from the Clash
  21. Agree, he is 22. Most 22yr old forwards arent the number 1 forward at a club, nor at a club that is notorious at long bombs when this kid wants to run and flay at the ball, not wrestle and have it bombed on him. This may not be his year but he will get better and come back a very good player.
  22. I thought he was a decent kick last year, but this year he has been a bit wayward, but that couls as you said be lack of pre season/conditioning/Foot. Also could be the perceived pressure of playing in the back half of the ground where mistakes can cost more.
  23. What the problem is he is not a defender. He is a winger, he always worked up and back and defender when he had to and attacked when it was time. Playing him at half back is stifling his natural attacking game. Not every player can just be an attacking half back, and we are paying him there to the detriment of the whole team and Windsors growth and development.
  24. The biggest thing that stands out for me with Lindsay is how low and flat his kicks come off the boot, makes it much harder to smother and moves quite fast.
  25. Spargo fumbled plenty yesterday and missed simple handballs and kicks, I'm not saying Sharp is the answer but he deserved to stay on yesterday more than Spargo did.
