  1. I think the more pertinent question is what makes you say that? Running machine with speed, both elite anaerobic and aerobic fitness who kicks very well. Fits the attributes we need.
  2. Im glad the OP has asked the question because it is a good one. However that doesn’t mean I’m not going to emphatically say no. He’s quite a player and we could use his type, he took an offer we all would have taken but HE LIED. He lied, lied and lied some more. The Ox called him out on SEN and he lied down the phone to him. The Tom Lynch saga, as ugly as it was ended with him telling the football club he was leaving. Tom could have saved a lot of face by doing something similar. I’ll never forget the garbage both father and son were saying at Tullamarine, ā€œOh yeah just going up to have a lookā€. I think we all know without being a fly on the wall how his manager would have briefed both of them before that encounter with the media. Give me Jack Watts’s integrity over Scully’s anyday. Babowwww.

Do people really think a move to North would be all about money? Not exactly bottom feeders. They showed a lot of promise this season and along with Polec joining is have them pushing for the 8 next season.
  4. Just watched it now, what a champ Tom and Oscar’s dad is! Hibberd dropping the bomb, everyone was awesome. I’d wanted to see a Roaming Brian with us all year, now it just seems like a regular thing!
  5. The good thing is I don’t think this is spin, I really think he doesn’t give a toss at all. Bit like Matty Scarlett.

Fluffed it last week and forgot my tips. This week goes Packers, Bengals, Patriots.

I've got no doubt about that at all. We'll all be taking turns . Nothing worse than your team getting a big juicy sack and getting the rush of blood only to see the flag down.
  8. If we somehow some way got more than 10,000 non Eagles fans that would be a start.
  9. Well this is interesting. Was already in the acceptance phase.
  10. Better to have a stereotype than none at all.
  11. I'd like Smith's height in there but that selection would come with big risk. It's fair to say our backline is in sync at the moment and making few silly errors, Smith could be a good addition but it's no time for one of those brain fades and you'd have to be prepared for that if he comes in.
  12. I'm fairly certain there will be tears. Then I'll buy the first attractive single woman I see a very expensive drink.
  13. What I’d give to be in an empty MCG and have one of the great people here recall their memories of the day! Student of the game, guilty as charged! Just love history!
  14. Tyson started slow but it would be harsh to drop him. Hunt’s pace would be valuable but all I can think of right now is the number of times we’ve brought him in with high hopes that this is the time it clicks and it doesn’t.
  15. Not sure, would depend what level of dual membership you have, I believe here is a premium MCC/MFC level or something like that? I think I read here yesterday someone who is a restricted member with the dual memebership who misses out on the ballot and MCC access to a grand final, terrible stuff.
  16. How good is this! Thanks for sharing Daisycutter.
  17. Hate to sound trite but.. Actually no I don’t care, shut this thread down.

Also now that Ryan Fitzpatrick has won two games and is officially now QB royalty (judging by the way he turned up to his presser), is Winston in trouble?

Just finished watching the Niners v Lions game and all I’ll say is it’s good to get a win. Played well for 2 1/2 quarters but in my mind the Lions went from being a joke to a team that is giving it a fair crack this season. They really need to clean up on their penalties though. Only other game I’ve seen is extended highlights of Vikes @ Packers and wow what a belter. The Matthews hit is just another example of this new rule, it’s going to be real tough to lay a hit on a QB and I look forward to the next week when what was once a good hit wipes off a good play. You can’t bring ā€˜half pressure’ on a QB. Very good game though I think both those teams will be at the pointy end.
  20. These people are weirdos.
  21. It’s absolutely a plus to be battle hardened.
  22. Did anyone else notice the Webjet site was stinking up the joint in the last few days? Couldn’t search this route at all.
