  1. A Grandstand finish
  2. This loading and de-loading crap is being bandied around literally everywhere right now.

Agree, silent fans at home get off your ar** and help.
  4. Yep, +1 over here. I was 15 when I started on DL with the old version.
  5. I appreciate your positivity and your post. I wish I could be more like this. Just give me today to get the negative out and will try to return to upbeat this week 😀
  6. I'm just not going to have anyone call me a bad fan for being humble but critical of our own performance last night. I resent some friends throwing this accusation out while I sat in the freezing cold at a game and they sat at home with Kayo.
  7. All valid points, no arguments at all on these.
  8. This loading line is spreading as quickly as the flu and while there's possibly truth to it I'm getting tired of friends using it as a crutch to why we lost and completely ignoring our inability to convert when the game was there to be won. What's next, are people gonna blame Ramadan? Come on, there's nothing wrong with calling a spade a spade and being critical of the events in this match doesn't make us bad fans.
  9. 3 charlies

    - Covid - Ticketek BS, hard to organise tickets - transport is garbage - Expensive Hope this helps, I really don't know what else to say anymore to this question of low crowds every week. Talk about it being quiet I have fair dinkum lost my voice tonight and I reckon I lept out of my seat for our goals at least three times. Sorry but go and slaughter the Kayo brigade
  11. Positive vs negative, negative vs positive. I love the way these two sides instantly get pitted against each other straight after a loss in a highly acclaimed black and white battle to the death. While I will say it is funny how negative people get after a loss in the position we're in, I will equally say how funny it is that someone providing positive comments nearly always ne er expects to be challenged with questions or critiques. To them, we must all be like them. They won't stand for our filthy negativity and we should just excuse ourselves well get stuffed, this is a discussion forum and we are discussing. Otherwise let's just have the church of latter day dees thread where we have tea and scones and stroke each other's stupid egos. Newsflash: If I come on here and have some views on where we went wrong and think we dropped the ball then this is my opinion, if you hold it against me and call me a crap fan for it then ask yourself why a crap fan would go to the game by themself in the freezing cold when they themselves have a cold. I got told off by a member of a messenger group I'm in just for bringing real talk to the convo, this person decided to stay home and watch on Kayo, get stuffed. Let me ask you extra positive people one thing, what do you want out of this season? Are you happy with whatever? 5 losses? 4? 3? Do you want to go back to back? If the last one is your big aim and you are sitting here being all positive then I seriously suggest you assess the situation a little bit. We are still to play Brisbane twice, Freo over there, Geelong down there, Carlton. To win this flag you will probably need top 2. If you want to just make top 4 then fine, we are probably sitting right where you want us. But figure out what you want because expectation is not a bad thing.
  12. Fair call. In the words of a former president some of our fans are 'soft as butter'. I'm including a lot of my so called Melbourne friends in that tonight who decided being at home on the couch with Kayo was a better option.
  13. A lot of teams are very good on their day, the reality is you aren't playing your absolute best 100% of the time 23 games a season. Respect your view but I stand by mine .
  14. Calmed a little slightly, sorry about before. We are a great side but the gap is not as big as people thought. We will get scrambled if we play like that again. This defence can simply not cover for May when he's missing, he brings way too much more than just his play, I'm confident they would have had 2 or 3 less goals if he was there. When he's out and Petty gets banged up then Lever has to play one on one which to put it bluntly, he's [censored] at. The whole thing goes to water, with May back in you will see the intercepts rise again. But then there is using the footy which is another story. Don't underestimate the off the ball work Tom McDonald does. Without him we can't any God damn separation up forward and we just bomb over Baghdad constantly. It was awful to watch. We need space to operate.
