Let's be honest, we could use a slight distraction right now.
  2. I think if the blueprint for success is there in front of you for two years I think you would copy it at least 90% actually. Having understudies working with him means that you'd be producing more coaches in the same mould. So have to disagree there I'm afraid Ham.

CYB he gets on the park like 15 times a year at best. Back issues he'll be managing for the rest of his career and all sorts of other stuff. On top of all that he walked out on us, I do like your thinking but it's just such a reach back into the past for the answer we think we need.
  4. When I say we were humiliated on National television it is a figure of speech meaning this is a Friday night football game for the country to see. It doesn't mean I was not there, in the cold seeing the disaster unfold first hand, I very much was.
  5. Hearing casual fans say we miss Burgo makes me laugh. We're likely running the exact same training program as last year. To blame this on one man leaving is seriously laughable. The hunger we possessed last year, you know the type that goes on to breakthrough? It's satisfied, teams like Geelong and Collingwood are showing it more now, deal with it.

No, don't get Hogan back and please stop with these ridiculous knee jerk threads seriously enough is enough.
  7. The only way the embarrassing narrative can be reversed is if we finish 3rd and get Collingwood for Rematch where it counts and win it.
  8. Win out is the only option now. We've had our last loss for 2022 if it is to be
  9. We all have dummy spits sometimes..
  10. Appreciate the thought out response. I am a sensitive soul and I was indeed upset. I was putting my opinion out there and wanted people to see my narrow minded view at the time. I apologise, wish I was more like you in the heat of the moment but I'm not and thank you for coming out with a well thought out post when you were called out for it and had no option but to save face, that is quite brave of you, sort of.
  11. The irony is they're going to finish top 4 BECAUSE we lost to them. But I largely agree, one of many teams who can win it.
  12. Conjecture, conjecture, conjecture..
  13. Changes do not bother me one iota. Our problems go deeper. However maybe time for JVR
  14. the commentators are crap
  15. In the words of Norm Smith: "I ate humble pie, it had a terrible taste"
  16. That's value for money
  17. So many times we bombed in thinking it was a safe option but if they mark it then they are off. And this was a trend, the number of times we killed our own momentum with stupid kicks, seriously.
  18. I will HBT, I will hang in. Damn it's painful right now!
  19. 6. Oliver 5. Gawn 4. Brayshaw 3. Viney 2. Salem 1. Lever
  20. Seriously can we just can the crap about how we should have been 8 goals up and put it to bed and trying to bend that into a positive. The fact is that we didn't and haven't on numerous occasions this year. Our game for 100 years has always been about execution, you either take chances or you don't. There's no column on the ladder for missed goals but good intention.
  21. So Fly had nothing to put up om tje board before Ed did that? OK. Could have done without the comments but it just almost seems like a movie.
  22. Don't totally disagree but it sounds like another excuse for their great form. What are we going to say after this one? That they didn't beat a quality opponent? Come on
  23. Nice little jokette there buster! If you want to rebut then fine I'll discuss. Let's see if you can bring something to the table other than a drive by.
  24. That would have been a fair thing to say 5 weeks ago. We're coming to the pointy end now and top 2 is in their sights. They're as good a chance as any.
