  1. Yes all for the 300 page finish line!
  2. Can't wait for the moving on part of this process to happen.

No joke before the game started I looked at the surface and felt it was great for injuries.
  4. That would be extremely disappointing. Hold firm guys!
  5. Stupid embargo.
  6. This is true, sorry I should have absorbed more after the first line my bad.

He does seem to have good awareness at stoppages.
  8. I wish these things would actually state who they are giving what they are giving to.
  9. Yeah something like that could be the way to go.
  10. Or does it mean that with a lamb roast the preference is for mint sauce? 😉
  11. I'd think a 3 year rookie contract could help but I don't see it stopping kids requesting trades after their first or second year like JHF. I understand we want more protection for clubs and a bit more leverage at the trade table but there would be a knock on effect somewhere else in list management eg if we go to delist Fraser Rosman and have to pay out his last year, these instances would add up.
  12. Most of it was pretty standard stuff but I cannot for the life of me understand why he said he met with Freo mid year. Say what you want about Scully but at least he knew how to play the system and say all the right things.
  13. It's a good idea but I just don't think Collingwood deserve pick 13.
  14. Don't disagree with that, I am definitely calmer than other departures we've had. While I'm not 100% happy with the deal or how this has gone down it is a much better place to be in than pre 2021 mentally and that extra 10% of bitterness I used to carry round isn't there anymore. We have a great list and can challenge without Jackson, players we have retained all make up the body of a great cake. Luke was great but when it comes down to it he was icing on the cake, at this point of his career anyway. Will always looik fondly on his time here but I'm hoping he doesn't set the world on fire at Freo.
  15. Yeah at the end of the day it is a no loss situation in terms of humour!
  16. Just praying that this isn't our final draft order. Hopefully there is more action in store.
  17. Here's hoping. They have bought speculative stock.
  18. We're a bit deep into this now and have discussed plans for Grundy in the side, I 've never been the biggest fan of the trade but it would be a shame if it fell down now. Collingwood did this to themselves.
  19. Yeah I don't care about his decision making process maybe other than from a case study point of view and what improvements the league needs to make. The result is the result.

Hard to compete when the injury curse takes hold. Speaking of which, really happy with our performance yesterday against the Panthers but my word it came at a cost. Bosa groin injury, Jimmy Ward brakes his hand in his comeback game, Jeff Wilson jr has his weekly knock and the one that is crippling is Emanuel Mosley now out for the season with a torn ACL. He's such an underrated hard working corner. I'd like to know why Carolina changed their surface to synthetic, it's not like their owners are poor. Doesn't help prevent a lot of these injuries.

Really impressive BDA. That Cowboys defensive front is right up there with the best at the moment.
  22. Would it be fair to call that the 'miracle pond'?
  23. Is there any way Weid could be part of this deal or is the Essendon deal now too much of a domino for all the other stupid trades around the league to get done?
  24. Yeah that does cheese me off a bit too. I guess there is some comfort in getting a Future second from Freo instead of GWS's pick 44 though.

They can have him, haven't seen that much to suggest he'd stand out in a rebuilding side.
