  1. The truth is that Collingwood are not early in their rebuild at all. There are some good young players for sure but there are still some serious holes being papered over by experienced stars in their twilight years and riding the wave of momentum and a game style that is paying dividends for now.
  2. That's it. It's really a week by week proposition at the moment.
  3. Yeah that is a a bit disappointing. Would have been good to know as I'm not likely to be able to make any sessions during the week. Hopefully if we get the week off there will be some kind of hit out on the weekend off.
  4. You want 80,000? Then get on board
  5. What percentage of T-mac's best is worth having back in the team? I'm landing on 72%
  6. His Interview with SEN last week was weak as you know what. Saying that Petty came over to him at 3QT and he was kind of surprised and trying to remember what he might have said. The next minute we're hearing reports that he was provoked and the victim or slurs that were just as terrible as what was said to Petty. I'm sorry, but if you said something out of severe hurt from waht came in your direction, you KNOW what it was at 3QT that you said and you don't look all sheepish about it either. Disappointing the way this has all gone down.
  7. Couldn't agree more, the space that was there won't be come finals. Some teams will get a shock.
  8. We know about Sydney's small forward threats but I'm thinking in order for the Swans to win they will need to find a tall marking presence who can clunk a few. Sam Reid was this man in Round 12 with 5 marks and 2 inside 50. Granted there was no May last time but do you guys also feel we need to be wary of this threat? My attitude is that their smalls are going to score on us, that's fact, but the punch that gets you is often the one you don't see coming especially in finals.
  9. That's great Queanbeyan Demon that you follow all ex Demons, it is. Shouldn't have jumped the gun there, I personally don't and I'm not sure I'm in the minority there on 'Land either. I and a lot of others are mainly about the now but I don't begrudge anyone who isn't like that.
  10. Like your style mate! Are you much of an ink sketcher? I'm pretty amature but did the Inktober challenge last year and triued sketching a few of our iconic premiership photos!
  11. Hope it went well today, been off DL and any Footy related stuff today. Big few weeks ahead and need a recharge and some time put into other areas. Very easy to forget but there is indeed a world out there other then footy.
  12. Let's he honest, most people didn't know he was still on a list this year.
  13. We're hardly short of AFL forwards there!
  14. I also feel a fair few of those Essendon players are bathwater drinkers. They need someone who will tell them to look in the mirror and pity the fool they see before them.
  15. - He was still in decent form when he played - Could he a nice stop gap for a year along with a younger Ruck - Has forward craft - Would be a hell of a lot cheaper than Grundy
  16. All for it personally and was saying it before his retirement. I'd prefer this than moving heaven and earth to get Grundy. However as others have mentioned we need someone waiting in the wings as well. I'm not wowed by what I've seen of Meek.
  17. I'm cool with our song. It doesn't have to be the hippest or coolest, it's just the most happy and comforting thing to hear after a win. Never change.
  18. No idea how I missed this stroke of genius at the time..
  19. This. Mike Gibson once said the following: "The average person's not interested in front-page political stories. For the average bloke, Canberra is a cold, horrible place he went to once. He's not interested in Canberra, but Parramatta - he might be interested in what's going on there." That's how I feel about DL and the Herald Sun is a cold place.
  20. I was gonna say the same thing! Yze was in front right until the last minute when Kingsley walked in and nailed the handshake with a nice, firm grip. On lookers said they had never seen a final interview day handshake like it but that was not all! His laptop started up in 15 seconds, an AFL record. This all paved the way for his super smooth PowerPoint presentation which in addition to the new clicker he bought specially, referenced the words: 'process, system, outcomes, growth, and metrics' a million times and then showed a diagram of the best way to make it from the cafeteria to the training ground for training. Needless to say after that, it was a done deal.
  21. Oh yeah there's another credible coach with experience they should consider.
