  1. Must stop Stewart.
  2. No guarantee for Oliver to return even next week. Argh
  3. Quick power workout done and now to swing to the sweet sounds of risk management.
  4. Watching and supporting this sport feels like we have to spend time with these morons week in and week out. If these people were acquaintances or friends of friends, I wouldn't be spending time with them or returning their calls.
  5. Will this day ever end!!
  6. If the Saints can get a W it will help a lot of their confidence, if they can't then they're still just another Joe Blow team in the bottom half of the 8.
  7. You do have to admire players who continue to add to there game even as they get older.
  8. That is damn impressive! I haven't been for a Cats v Dees game since 2010 but would go quite often before that. Including that bloody draw.
  9. How good is subtle humour!
  10. Honestly thought the bye rounds were over. Makes tonight even sillier.
  11. Short trip for you tonight! Enjoy.
  12. I got the biggest shot of adrenaline and leaped so high I nearly hit the ceiling.
  13. Yeah, but one of them would always be in yelling form.
  14. Yep. This isn't a gimme by any stretch and even if Geelong were bottom 4 I'd still see it as a tough scenario. Rhys Stanley in, can see him doing a good double act with Blicavs and Scott pulling something unexpected. We need to be ready for anything they throw at us.
  15. Sounds like a Greek or Italian household 🙃
  16. It's a coin flip for me, won't be surprised if we drop it but also don't see why we can't get the job done. Need to adapt to the ground and make it nice and small for the felines.
  17. Who's ready for some sludge footy down at Septic Tank stadium?
  18. I see your point but I don't think it's rich at all. We conceded 15 marks in defensive 50 in that game, sure their midfield scorched us but the air ball is supposed to be this backline's bread and butter and it wasn't just because we missed Lever, May had a shocker. The trend continued against GC where we conceded another 12 and 24 shots from 45 entries and then a whopping 17 against Port (It was wet that night too). I don't know where this 1v1 winning % is for Lever but he's an average 1v1 defender at best, this is why bringing Tommo in helped free him up to do what he does best. The point is although the issues weren't massive they were there and needed to be ironed out. If making another change to bring Petty straight back in seems worthwhile then they should do it but when we won in 2021 there were very few changes back there and the less change the more you're in sync with each other's game and not having to re-adjust.
  19. Kali nichta kids.
  20. Depends which back 6 combo you're talking about. I think playing multiple back 6 combinations in a season does little for cohesion in a team that plays a zone defence, especially when the most recent combo seemed to bear the most fruit. It's easy to forget now it would be naive to say that our backline hasn't had any issues at all this year. I do agree though that Max could drop back a bit and fill the hole, much like the Dogs game in Rd 1.
  21. To be fair I'm glad none of us are on the coaching committee.
  22. Great effort!
  23. Is that a bamboo handle? Too many hipster kettles on the market.
  24. I had an offer from Boozebud for Norman's Regional Series Shiraz. $168 for the Dozen, only till midnight though.
