  1. Hope it's nothing too serious mate. Selections have mostly been on point this season but this was one of the worst. If we're going to be experimenting at this point of the year then we might as well get the Woeys and the Howes' involved or someone keen to come in and make an impact.
  2. I love our focus on pressure but I think you make a decent point. Our forwards need more cutting edge, simple as that. We look toothless up front and it's hard to see an avenue to goal. Footy is hard and AFL defences are hard to play against, we get it. But this is why you need to keep evolving your play and coming up with new ways to get looks at goal.
  3. Definitely would have helped in getting our inside to out game going with quick handball out of congestion. We probably would have butchered it anyway.
  4. Mark Brayshaw is a Dees fan? That's awesome!
  5. Have we ever been a good wet weather team though? There are very few games that I can remember where it rained raining and we didn't keep handballing and looking for run and carry, maybe the Richmond game in 21.
  6. You're right, I'd rather be an in form 3rd or 4th team than the broken and battered 2nd team we were last year.
  7. Haha, "Rubbish Binny was left out by the selectors last night"
  8. If she actually said that Tomlinson won't be playing in September effectively ruling out the bloke's chance for any future selections then that is really disappointing and he should just quit or seek a mid season trade that doesn't exist.
  9. It really should be pinned, will get a few votes in the postlow award come end of year. Go The Biff should write like this more!
  10. Seriously, when we finally hack a long and useless ball into the 50 I half expect our forwards to go for a spoil. You could be forgiven for thinking the midfielder just kicked it the wrong way. We need to be proactive as forwards, Fritsch is the only one that will vary his leads up and actually give his opponent something to think about. Smith, while he took some nice grabs just doesn't offer this. Stewart was lying out there sipping pina coladas as he got intercept after intercept.
  11. All this is true and I'm aiming for this attitude but it's so much easier to just complain until you run out of energy and fall asleep. That's the MFCSS way.
  12. Our forwards play like defenders. Waiting for it to come in and then impacting rather then making the movement themselves. It stinks
  13. Very good post. I know Smith isn't a KPF's backside but there's just no other option and at least he sort of reads the ball in flight well. Did nothing after HT though
  14. At least Grundy marked
  15. I want to see encouraging football.
  16. Can't wait! Apparently running on an injured hammy is good for it.
  17. When people were worried getting Grundy would keep us as a long ball team, this was the kind of game they were worried about.
  18. Yeah what was that blindsided BS all about? Really need to start muting the tv.
  19. Just pray that god doesn't turn on the waterworks for the rest of the year.
  20. How about Rohan in the middle after prior being held up in the tackle for ages and then just throwing it out to someone (Duncan maybe) for play on.
  21. Why is it that we never ever seem to get those 50s?
  22. 6. Viney 5. Petracca 4. Salem 3. Hibberd 2. Hunter 1. Rivers -0.5. Monterey Jack
  23. If our gameplan was designed to beat Geelong this year, we sure blew it with that insane rampage.
  24. Only really got ourselves to blame for that last quarter.
