  1. A very odd thing there and I can't for the life of me figure out why they would do that. I guess with TRRS being purely analogue it just passes what audio is playing off the phone through and can get around any limitations but XLR should have the same capabilities? No idea. Good thing you still have the first one, I'd always want a wired option for best possible sound quality if nothing else. Also there can be a number of unforeseen things that can interfere with the bluetooth and kick it off, just this morning I was listening to music on my car stereo via BT from Spotify and all of a sudden my phone went into call mode to no-one and cut all the audio. This happened at least 6 times, need to troubleshoot that one but I feel like it's another app on my phone getting involved somehow with notifications or something.
  2. Dogs Us Pies Suns Carltank Cats Giants Hawks Tigers Just my tips, think itโ€™s pretty obvious what favours us.
  3. I wish, wish, wish we had this option. It's the only reason I don't mute when I'm watching us on TV.
  4. Would you take 4 goals from BBB and Melksham combined if it were offered right now?
  5. Buddy is on a pedestal and deservedly so, well worthy of being mentioned along with those names. Great career in a time of much more spread goalkickers.

Have they been workshopping it or is someone just photoshopping it?

Won't be going to us that's for sure.
  8. Better than some of the other things it's been lately!
  9. That is a major pain. Definitely test if you can hear music or another audio source coming through. One other question, when you tried the XLR cable was it to 3.5mm into an adapter for lightening or was it just an XLR to Lightening cable? The other thing is I've got an Android phone, Apple may have their own little nuances with this stuff.
  10. So even if you plug in from the phone to an XLR input it won't work? Dang. I've realised that what I actually did was a 3.5mm to 6.35mm Y-splitter TRS cable and plugged straight into the XLR combo input on my interface but if the above didn't work this probably won't either.
  11. We were panned for not only our recruitment and drafting but also our development and nurturing of talent early last decade. We've come a very long way and I couldn't be prouder with the way we go about our business now, you just know every player that has their debut has been given the best possible start.
  12. This is true, I guess we didn't know what we didn't know at the time! Seeing it live is definitely an added carrot.
  13. Further to this, the previous 10 premiers combined have gone 35-5 in the last 4 rounds of the season..
  14. Full credit, I'm the same age and feel like I'm about ping a hammy every Indoor Soccer game.
  15. He's undefeated this season yeah?
  16. Thanks for the detailed explanation Andy, I know it probably means zilch to most listeners but I love this stuff. I often forget about platforms like Zencastr and how convenient they are for this kind of thing, Iโ€™m pretty old school and set in my ways when it comes to recording/mixing/mastering doing it all in a DAW. My informed/hack comments below: One thing you could do as a fail safe option for the phone to mixer interview is get a 3.5mm jack to XLR cable and plug into the mixer. Youโ€™d need to have a free XLR input on the mixer but itโ€™s worked pretty well for me in interviews, if you have a phone with USB-C or thunderbolt you can get adapters pretty cheap. Impressed that the Rodecaster has Bluetooth capabilities though! Ah yes, Audacity and normalisation. I know that Spotifyโ€™s podcasting platform automatically normalises uploads to -16 LUFS so Iโ€™m guessing Zencastr must do something similar? I love Audacity as a free program but you literally have to do everything yourself and the Equaliser is so limited in that you can only make 1 change and hear the results of it at a time, forever going back and forth. I love to use โ€˜EQ sweepingโ€™ techniques while hearing the audio so thatโ€™s always a pain when using Audacity for me. I hear you though, at 1:30am you do everything you can to get the ep out and be done with it! The car stereo test is usually the best measuring stick, sometimes you need a good test in an everyday environment. Recording over Skype or Zoom sounds garbage, would honestly rather record a phone call. When I did more interview recording I was so paranoid the computer would crash I would have a phone voice recording running as well. Never needed it but peace of mind is worth it sometimes. All in all it sounds like Zencastr has been an excellent investment and sounds like a very impressive platform for what it can do.
  17. All just politics at the end of the day. Wording was probably carefully selected, that's the way of life. Still live in faint, stupid hope.
  18. Agree, I can see it being a score from stoppage game and it should be an enjoyable midfield duel from a neutral standpoint Would dearly love to have had Clarry in this one but confident Jordon can do the biz. This is the game where I'd love to see Kozzie rotate through there, not an overly quick midfield and if gets a few breakaway possessions it could make a difference.
  19. Yeah but we'll happily take both stories!
  20. Yep, some with pleasure as well.
  21. He's been the 'play starter' in their midfield this season. Reckon they get smoked even more without him.
  22. An at least 90% fit Hibbo is a much needed asset going into finals.
  23. They need a very good coach. This is last chance saloon.
  24. It's something at least!
  25. Not sure what DAW you're using but do you ever use a loudness meter on your tracks?
