  1. Really appreciate the answer to my question about selection and the 2 talls in defence but I saw it a little differently. Yes the backline was solid all night but I look a bit beyond their ability to hold the oppo score. There's never been a time this year where I've been confident with May and Lever as the only talls in the backline. Not only would 3 have possibly helped nullify the 2 goals Mcstay scored from pure mismatches, it would have allowed Lever to do his intercept thing much easier and could have helped in the score from turnover stakes which we struggled in. Hibberd was a great inclusion, not saying it should have been at his expense, maybe Smith could have been swung down there more or used as the sub and keep Turner in. We did keep their talls in Mihociek and Mcstay to 3 goals but at the end of the day they kicked 9 for the game so it's still a fair portion. We lost the game with bad kicking at goal, fine it happens. However if thats going to be the case and we cant rely on it then that just means there's no margin for error from the defence no matter how good they were on the night. I think we made this selection based on the weather which didn't quite come to the extent we expected and personally I think it was the wrong one. Sorry still very ranty and salty, it's taken a very long time to move on.
  2. There needs to be an uprising if he gets off. This is like a police brutality case right now.
  3. How's the mini footy in Maynard's hand going? Textbook guilt behaviour.
  4. I was actually going to say that recently. We praise cricketers for this skill, having someone running down and bowling a million miles an hour with a split second to decide what you're going to do. It can be done.
  5. They should play back the moment Maynard stutter steps and deviates from his path in the leap.
  6. Sounds like the loophole has formed.
  7. Alright I'm back, what did I miss?
  8. Over-gelled hair, a mini football in hand and no idea of his actions. We're dealing with a real mind here..
  9. I hope he's the shortest of shortest priced guilty favourites!
  10. So much for the biomechanist being early. Rule 1 of bureaucracy, nothing is ever on time.
  11. Hey guys, when you open another tab you can upvote again!
  12. "He was in my way" Your way? Can't imagine that helps.
  13. I'm going to start doing that now, thanks for the tip!
  14. You can just see Maynard getting half the tub through his hair before a hot date.
  15. Maynard's evidence has concluded. He takes a sip of water. His hair is immaculately gelled. Slippery little sucker
  16. If he did then it was completely incidental, like the contact to Gus.
  17. I figure he needs the whole week to clean out the Maynard bobbleheads.
  18. "You were speeding in your car" Maynard: "I didn't know they were going to pull out, they were just suddenly there!"
  19. That's the problem with lack of control. Just like he lost major control when he launched himself like a scud missile (Which apparently isn't his fault), he also can't control movements that other players make.
  20. And just make sure Nick if you get any DMs from someone in Nigeria asking for money, definitely send it.
  21. Jobe Watson's Brownlow is more legit than Cripps' for me.
  22. After what we've heard and seen the last few days it's really great Andy, it's really really great. That's all I have to say.
  23. Oh have I got the example for you! 1982 World Cup Germany vs France. Goalkeeper Shumacher comes out and nails French outfield player Patrick Battiston. Battiston was taken away on a stretcher. Unbelievably there was no foul and the ref called goal kick! These days I'd imagine this would be red card and lengthy suspension..
  24. The whole thing sounded so flimsy. As if you'd just rock up to someone's house unannounced after a situation like that. I know he tried calling Gus's mother but was apparently met with resistance. Without knowing everything it sounds like Brayden really needed to read the room better, even trying this stunt next week would have been better than in the days after.
