Does anyone have a rationale for how they choose a number that would suit a new player? Is it based on their personality or something?

He reminds me of that kid in junior footy who probably studied every single way that an oval shaped ball can bounce. Whether it comes to gathering it or kicking bouncers.

No doubt the ceiling is high for Tauru. Impossible to predict how good he could be. I'm personally not fussed but I can see why others would be, we do need to think about the future.

Well done to JT and the gang, I'm really happy with the result. Wasn't sure when it came to pick 11 but there was a gut feeling it could be XL once things played out that way. I'm not totally convinced that it would have been Tauru had he been available, it may have been, but I'm just really glad we went bold and addressed a need instead of going KPP in someone like Armstrong or Murphy Reid who I honestly wouldn't have minded but could have been another Bailey Laurie kind of pick. Bring on 2025, I think there's a bit there to work with.

Absolutely stoked to have Xavier here. Could have caved and gone for the shiny Tauru if he was available but I'm not sold and happy for Saonts to have him. We showed some guts and drafted for a need. Can't wait to see Xavier out there in the red and blue!
