It depends what is available, but for next year i would like to see ready made players bought in. Particularly now there is a mid season draft as well we need to get back up the ladder and maximize what was already built

We had no idea who to pick in hindsight We had become a hopeless Football Club because Smithy’s Culture of Absolute Excellence had slowly been eroded away. Winning should have always been important and how it became a lower priority is a stain on this club. This year has been bad, but i do not question the effort by the players. We might still come home hard, if we can get back players from injury, without losing others.

Yes. Sadly it is the mistake that was made 10 years ago. We must never think that way again. Whorethorn have plateaued right now, but in 2-3 years they will return to September. They do not accept losing.

The MFC was formed as part of the Melbourne Cricket Club, who were based at The MCG. The MCG is our “Suburb” which is why i will always hope we build a Home near the ground. That doesn’t stop us traveling, but “Home” shall always be The MCG
