it is a high contact collision game for god sake, do not blame the club. Blame the club for other stuff maybe but not these injuries. It is just rotten bad luck-and it is purely RANDOM...every year it's random. Can't believe what i am reading in this thread. Wonna probably did his hammy because he was trying so hard to impress he over did it. Don't blame the club. Now Ben Cousins Round 1 last year is a club fault. But not our injury list-it's totally Random, and these days players hit harder with the extra pace in the game. Stress fractures-usually big heavy blokes running continuously-that's the game.

Move on to where? This club aint nasty enough, that's why we do not win.

Yes it probably was 7-8 but i switched off mentally-i refuse to let the MFC depress me anymore. Our biggest problem is switching off when we hit the lead, or it could be the opposition just saying "ok enough of this lets kill" and we fall over. God this club got F...up about 3-4 years ago. Even our senior players have lost the ability to win. Dam these two new clubs pillaging all the talent-we need it bad.

You obviously weren't at the '88 Grand Final though, that's obvious. Of course i hold a grudge against Hawthorn, I Hate all clubs except the MFC including the AFL. Sick of seeing every one else win cups, particularly the ring ins of the past 20 odd years.

We are going to struggle winning any games this year, even against Richmond if our forward line does not get sorted quickly. Reputations on paper mean nothing compared to on the oval. Round 1 cannot come soon enough. On Paper we had a pretty good side in today, & we got thrashed. Hard to believe we very nearly beat Footscray last year. Dean Bailey has still got a very long way to go in a very tough job. We still should be aiming to beat a depleted Hawthorn in Round 1 though, otherwise what is the point of all the hard work & sweat over summer When was the last time we kicked 4-6 goals unanswered against any opposition?? Bcoz that is what kills us week after week. Today as soon as we hit the front in the 3rd Q Wet Coke just Bang 3-4 in a row quickly....game over. Does this team switch off as soon as we lead a game??-it's very concerning-and no wonder we are not rated by anyone outside the club as we do not deserve to be right now.

If the TV Stations are going to pay somewhere near $Billion+- they will want as many games to cover as is possible. I do not like the sound of this expanded comp at all, somewhere it is going to Blow out. Vlad & co better tread very carefully here. Let's not forget it is our game.

Most of our injuries are collisions & i don't think the greatest facilities or staff would have made any difference. If all our injuries were soft tissue related i would be agreeing with you all the way. Bit like those magnificent Gunners this year-High Impact collisions, they happen. Maybe we should contact The Gunners to get a few survival tips on how to keep winning with a severely depleted front Half :)
