Being there in '87 & '88 are very different to reading about it now. It's like saying do i feel the euphoria from the '64 GF or what happened in the '50's. Sure its cool to read about it, and i am proud of what the players did but it sure aint the same as being there and riding that emotive wave. the emotion particularly at VFL Park at that Prelim Final was seriously like a death in the family-we had got so close to be beaten after the siren by the team that made the GF yearly, So yes i am Proud to hate the Hawks as well as look ahead. Don't ever ask me to forgive or forget those memories- i remember them as an honour to our great club. Maybe after seeing a winning G.F. it won't hurt so much, but i will never forget that day, and if you were not at the ground you will never quite understand it

I am only guessing 45, but Running costs through a football club are incredibly high now, and we haven't pulled big attendances consistently for 2-3 years at least so with the old stadium deal maybe we had to pay out quite a bit more in running costs. and with interest payments hanging over everything i could see the figure rising, but as i say i am only guessing. But once that debt and interest goes we should make make some good coin if we were able to reduce that debt during the Global Financial Crisis the club is doing very well.

Don't forget to add the Interest paid on the $825K. The silent killer interest along with running costs would get it close to $1.5 m Which is why 3 years ago our $5 mill debt was closer to $8 mill and rising. The club has done an amazing job to get the debt down so quickly. In 10 years we could be in that big 4 to stay if we are diligent now and onwards.

I have heard him pay out on the Demons often on Radio, often by not even giving them any answer at all. But DerWayne is far worse, so i could imagine Liam sticking up for the Demons in his presence. Dwayne really does seem to hate the Demons-love to ask him why one day, and then just give him the biggest vocal spray. Lets be Honest, the AFL are hanging the Victorian clubs out to dry. Those that survive will make it,those that cannot pay the Bills will die. 18 teams is not a workable amount. Having been to most GF's since 1970 i actually hate all clubs except the MFC basically cause i have seen so many other clubs win a flag except my own, and now with these 2 new sides its going to be even harder-so i am just glad that a new board came in when they did, because we were a basket case 3 years ago. Only Demetrio has any idea how much western sydney is going to cost us all At least Essendon have a decent stadium deal!! You bastards make $$ at the airport regardless of who is playing!! Depends how it was filmed, on tape it is more difficult to trace, but not impossable by a long shot, off a disk or a chip card it would be very easy to track down where it came from.
