No i am Genuinely not sure what all those stats you produced had to do with last weeks game. And were you using them as an excuse or a reason for our pitiful showing? Not that i doubt the Stats, but the MFC should be bloody ashamed of those stats-use them as a motivation rather than a crutch. I am sure the AAMI stats are no different. Imagine Flying over there, Hotel for a night, Food Drinks & Cabs- all that money & Time for that Rubbish!!!!!

The shock i genuinely had, was of our senior players. The kids i can deal with no probs-Play them 3 games out of 4 and rotate them But those senior players....AFL Players for 6-10 years....It could have been due to no Ruckmen, but not to that extent I would play Brad Green up Forward this week. If we do not get our act together in the next 5-10 sure i believe will be shipped off to be part of the Gold Coast or GWS. If the club cannot entice players players we will fold. Personally i wish Junior McD was coaching, i don't think his reaction time is sharp enough for the style of player he is, although yes he does have a big heart. I was shocked at last sundays performance regardless of its NAB CUP stature, we are so far behind the rest of the comp right now, For 2 reasons....The Kids which i knew, but the absolute lack of leadership was so obvious it made it a horror moovie to be honest. That is a team that has been training since October 6th 2009 ,& yes not one of those older Blokes stood up.....I wish we could Channel Norm Smith right now!!!!!!!

Sadly that was the most lifeless and Dull summer of cricket (international) i have ever seen. For the first time ever i am glad it's over. I hope it is just a blip on the Radar & not a long term decline in interest. Interesting times ahead for the Bat & Ball.

Axis read carefully my previous posts. I did not state that i saw him catergorically playing in the WAFL in 2008. We got vision from all over WA, Mainly WAFL but there was extra leagues sent across. Sometimes WAFL Grounds are very empty on the outer, so Leagues can look the same So if he was playing in Bunbury thats where the footage came from-at the time his jumper did not mean anything to me I have never been to Perth yet..but we definately recieved Lewis Jetta Highlight footage that year. 2008 was the only year i worked on the VFL Any how i am outta here. You Gotta stop looking at it from the Negative point of view. It's not who is going to Leave, it's all about who is going to WANT to play for the MFC. If we are playing september Footy Jack Watts won't be going anywhere.

i would say quality players who can compete at AFL level are usually Leaders Rhino. We do not demand enough of ours at this point-and to be honest we are still not sure who they are. & secondly many on here would come up with excuses on our ruck stocks not being so bad-That's the reason i stated it.

I actually agree with Mike on this one, which can be rare. Last year on here i stated that if it was up to me i would assess DB's coaching & Footy Dept. After the Q B'day Round 12 Game-and got shouted down by many in here-That is fair enough, But i still stand by my statement. I want Bailey to succeed absolutely, but there is nothing wrong with a dead line. I worked in a news room with deadlines each day for 7 years, when the pressure was on most people excelled. If Bailey's contract has been extended by 2 years at this point i will Back Jimmy & Co, personally i would wait till june.

It's a Footy Ground made of Grass with Standard Goal posts, with only a small crowd-We should have given the Shockers a tough game-we didn't. They to are a shaky side. I like DB but for him to survive he is going to have to fight for his life-That is not a bad thing btw. After watching last weeks Game not a bad review at all. We are not rated out there & seriously do not deserve to be at the Minute. How far we climb up the ladder this year will depend on how many true leaders we have on the list. Not Leaders at Training during the Week, But i mean True Leaders on Match Day.......

I am quite Happy that Free Agency is Here in terms of the MFC. It now means we must get ourselves in order in 2-3 years. No more of this 5-6 year rubbish. Use the Free Agency model as a Positive-Rather than Moan & Groan about players leaving. Let us plan in Terms of Players wanting to play for the Melbourne Football Club rather than Collingwood, Carlton or Essendon. It can & will be done, there is no alternative.....apart from non exisistance. Starts Today...(Just imagine if 5 players of Judd/Hird/Brereton Stature all wanted to play for Melbourne FC at the one Time)...This is the Line in the Sand Stuff. Play Like DEMONS. Yes i don't disagree with your point, but i still say some of our senior players (70+ Games) do not get 110 % out of themselves consistently. John Northey got 110 % out of his teams quite often and almost got a flag. ND got it in short Bursts, but not enough. Maybe the new Training Faciilties will help to get top Performance. It is Bailey's biggest challenge & i am sure he knows it. Smart Bloke is Dean, But i bet he was filthy last night.

I think we all need a few "Mother's little Helper's" today, don't feel ashamed!!
