SHUT UP I'M SICK OF THE NEGATIVITY
I wish I could get paid for writing what everyone else has been saying for years.

SHUT UP I'M SICK OF THE NEGATIVITY
There's no way Hawthorn will be bottom 8. Melbourne on the other hand...

Shepherding the man on the mark
Because as soon as WE do it, a free will be paid. Same for throwing the ball. Everyone does it, but as soon as we do it, a free will be paid.

Shepherding the man on the mark
Collingwood did it heaps in 2010. Herry Lamumba was their main man-on-the-mark shepherder. I'm pretty sure that's the only reason we recruited him.

Left behind again - ground upgrades
Reads more like the Demons website blindly republished the AFL's press release.

Left behind again - ground upgrades
You're kidding, right? Labor's re-election is a certainty.

Hawks on Sunday - Predictions
For some reason my brother and I were at Moorrabin with our next door neighbours (they were big Saints fans). People with radios were talking about Hudson's tally - 8 out of 9 at one stage - and then after Hudson went down it was all that anyone was talking about. Possibly because Hudson's previous game was the 1971 grand final, when Hawthorn beat StKilda.

Hawks on Sunday - Predictions
Not sure we are quite ready to penetrate #ClarkoFooty. They seem to be back to a well organised unit, we are slightly off speed. Plus, with O'Meara and Mitchell added to the mix, they'll get their share of the footy. I'm eternally pessimistic, but our efforts against #ClarkoFooty don't boost my optimism.

Round 4 Non MFC games
Hard to know whether Collingwood is much better or Adelaide is in collapse after a horrendous 6 months. Bit of both, I guess.

Bomb it long!
Possibly tautologous.

Josh Wagner
If Wagner is doing exactly what the coaches ask for, and there is no one obviously better to go past him, he has to be picked.

Dees article in The Guardian.
Where are StKilda at? Next time you bump into a Saints fan, whisper in his ear "Petracca, McCartin" and watch him start sobbing.

Bomb it long!
Compare the 2016 game at the Dome against StKilda with the three games this year. That Saints game was the infamous "they're out the back here" game. We are slowly developing our forward defensive game so that we are able to better trap sides in our forward line. North snuck out early, but we were able to put the clamps on them before too much damage was done. The key is to replicate the forward press effectively against the better sides.

"Lapse or Lethal Dees"
If it says in the rulebook that you are not allowed to look at your opponent, even if you don't touch your opponent, the rulebook is a farce.
-
"Lapse or Lethal Dees"
You are allowed to take your eyes off the ball, as long as you don't interfere with your opponent. (Sometimes the umpires preempt this and make mistakes.) Lever looked away, then copped an elbow/forearm to the bonce. Free to Lever, for me.

"Lapse or Lethal Dees"
"One kick away from 3-0" is deceiving. Geelong are a dubious prospect, while Brisbane and North are also-rans. We use the ball like we did against North and the good sides will slaughter us. We are spluttering along. Viney is our most important player (with Max) and TMac is a key piece of our puzzle. I don't expect to beat Hawthorn. Feel free to slap me around if we win. I won't feel it. But I am really looking forward to Richmond.

Bomb it long!
Bomb it long is going to lose us too many games. Teams like WC and Hawthorn set up to defuse the long bomb and will slaughter us going the other way. We must find a smarter way to take the ball inside 50. We certainly now get enough of the footy into the forward 50, but the slingshot sides will eat us up. #ClarkoFooty

Clarry's goal
The commentators were too busy raving about Majak Daw to wet themselves over a Melbourne player.
